So becuase it's transforemers, everyone has to rant on how these guys should rot in jail, but I'm sure some of you in this five page mess of nothing about noting has pirated movies.

it is a business when it comes down to it. i am sure everyone here as at least purchased a chinese knock off combiner to add to their collection. is anyone so pure that they can not add bruticus to their collection for 15 bucks? even for crappy parts or weapons. maybe some repro labels or just been taxed off ebay to get something before any one else has it. who have you been supporting and why are you so quick to judge? i have been silent for many years but this recent madness has brought out my opinions because i feel like the bandwagoneers are on.

But that's you. You liked the movie and were happy to contribute to a sequel. But had some of us paid to watch it, we'd have had to cut off our testicles, that we not reproduce.

Pirates are the lowest form of life and yes, that includes Pirates of the Caribean. If someone can only exist by ripping off the works of others and stealing what others strive to create then I hope they suffer from some much deserved police brutality.

my girlfriend will probably get jealous but thank you. she hates that i "waste my money on crap." what she does not understand is my crap is worth more than her car and never will. i don't condone piracy but we are all victim. love my transformers, paid my ticket and popcorn price(popcorn is mad expensive). will not buy any bootleg cause it will look better on my tv if i wait for the real release which i will buy in hd format. all i am saying is the real bootleggers don't get caught like this. i remember a raid in my town a couple years back where they found studio quality dvd's of movies not even in the theatres yet. they steal the digital masters and that is how they do it. not an expert just a fan[/quote]

I'm a big "pirate", I guess. After I see a movie in theaters, I tend to download a torrent of it if I liked it. That way, I can enjoy it in the privacy of my own home. Personally, I use pirated downloads as a "tide me over" until the DVD is released.

The only reason anyone made any sort of big deal about this is because it was TF and there was so much freaking hype about the movie. If it were some romantic comedy, no one would have given a darn. The studios (and those who work for them) make their money off the investors, companies who pay top dollar to get their products in the film, and the 90% of moviegoers who shell out the cash. They don't go bankrupt and lose their livelihoods over the "pirates" who go the bootleg route. If that were the case, they'd stop making movies.
