As you all will have spotted, its got a little quiet around here recently.

With all the build-up to the new game and and the recent tourney coming to a close it's cooled down a bit lately, which was to be expected, but what can the rest of us do to make the last few months of HMW v1.x more memorable and more fun for those of us who are sticking it out to the very end?

Bear in mind we cant change the game itself (and you should know better than to even ask by now) and there will always be other stuff on as the internet is a big place, but have any of you got any requests for what we can do to kill the time?

Just wanna tell the world you're still playing?
Got any more milestones you want to conquer?
Trying to squeeze your way to those last few upgrades?
Busy making an entry for the art competition?
Or just wanna flesh-out your team a bit further?

Feel free to chatter about it all here - forget faction, we're the last of the V1 players, together lets see what fun we can still squeeze out of this game whilst we still can...

I think life might slow down for me for a bit now, still have a few hours work on the weekends, but come Easter Weekend, screw that! Four days off!

Ahhhhhhh, the ank holidays, one of the few benefits of the soul-destroying tedium that is office work.

My Easter weekend is already booked up on the farm and i've already begun trying to work out which of the lambs looks the tastiest for dinner... =P~

I haven't had much time to play the past couple weeks. Too busy writing some modifications to equipment at work and going to some training to learn how to write modifications to equipment. Plus got some "new" PS2 games that have taken up some of my time at home.

Some goal? Try and get back into the top 100, top 1M xp, get all 12 bots to Level 2, and finish up my bios for HMW2. Yeah, I know. I've been working on bios since I started playing. Just not as a talented writer as some of you out there. SO BACK OFF!!

Maybe a break is what some have needed. The harder you play, the faster you can get burned out on it. At least we aren't on a forced break like the boards have been in the past. Things will pick back up when it gets closer to HMW2 release date and the HMW1.∞ endgame begins. At least I hope it does.

I'm still here and going strong, between school stuff and having a social life. I just don't post a lot cuz I usually don't have anything intelligent or useful to say :wink:

Progress, however, has been slow due to the fact that my 'Bots are outclassed in the Missions 99.999% of the time

Goals? Reach Level 1. That's my main goal I want before HMW2. Other goals include maybe reaching 500K xp and getting my top 'Bot in the top 2000, but both of those seem somewhat unlikely.

I second those remarks :-)

I'm here, just nothing has been posted that I have any particular point of view on,...plus work work work yadda yadda yadda.

I'm just hoping to break all my bots into level 2 before HMW1.x gets ashcaned. (not too far on some of them too)

other than that, I'm still pluggin away whenever i get a second free around the house, I'll through 3 bots in missions, and 3 bots in the arena, just to spice it up.

HMW2 can't come soon enough though :-D

(mainly cause I', lookin forward to everyone starting out fresh and having ME dominate for once muhahaha....sucks I came in so late for HMW1)

I'm still here, not posting that much. Except for the movie forum the entire site has been pretty dead and I'm not going near that damn forum with a 30 foot stick.

I'm trying to get into school and stuff, so my playing time will probably cut down a lot in the Fall. Unless I get my own computer which I'm really going to need anyway...

I'm still chugging along in the game though.

I plan to do the same as always, Keep my guys active, try to get them as high up as I can before the V2 launch, and try to deside which of my guys will survive to form the basis of my V2 team.

Easter however I will be next to invisible, as I'm heading out of town and my net access will be questionable.

Its nice to see alot of new faces in this topic and I'm glad you guys are here

I am just happy to be a part of this game no matter what is going on. Without this game I would be falling a sleep at work and would have to drink alot of coffee. So this game keeps my mind awake and off the caffeine. Even though my time into HMW is only at work(which gives me a good 40 hours a week of playing time

), this game has grown on me to throw 6 guys in sometimes while I check my emails when I am at home.

My goal is to have all 12 reach level 3 but also have few reach level 4. I dont know where I will end up in the team standing but I hope I reach the top 30.

The only goal I ever had was to become the number 1 Cheetah alt Transformer. I've got a long long way to go to catch up.

im still around,
i think im the most active maximal around ATM both in the game and posting. i will keep playing till the last mission in V1.x

and hopefully be in the first for V2 :grin:

goals before the swap over? well before todays events (log wipe

) was to claim the big bounty on WS, AZ, FEFE, and CCAT and get all my guys to level 3 at least and hopefully get Airstorm Alpha to level 4. will just have to start again

i know the game is "locked" but any chance the last week or few days (or even the last hour) could we get OS to put some weird and wonderful figures into the weapon and tactic stats tables in the back office ? sort of bust the game, would be fun to hit once for 1000% LOL

I think the past week i've been more active in looking and checking the forums than sending my guys into missions. Could be a few reasons for that, including trying out some new Be A Pro positions on NHL 09. I will still be active all the way up to the switch, but that level of activity is variable.

I am doing a few little creations, or well i've got ideas down, haven't actually started on any yet, for the art contest thing for V2.

Goal wise? stay in positive energon like Cheetron lol. Maybe see if i can get either Caniac or Vaynelock back to level 3 before the end.

I've been more active this week since its Spring Break.

Right now, I want to keep Windstalker as the top Maximal and hopefully upgrade her up to a lv 4 since she only has one more upgrade to go. Also I'm trying to get a bit more of my team up to lv 3. Energon wise, I'm trying to keep it from dropping below 300,000.

Still toiling away. Wold like to break level 2 with most of my team before HMW2 but work has been trying to interrupt that lately.

Any word on if that massive xp gift we were going to get to finish the last month of the game that was mentioned long ago when OS first started the HMW2 project. We could call it the "V1 XP Stimulus Plan" and give out over a trillion points to stimulate the players.

I am still playing a lot.

Looks like GS hardly plays anymore which will allow me to have my bots occupy the first 4 spots.

My team score has not been climbing a fast as it was. I think there are fewer higher level cons to smash.

L5 is actually within some of my bot's grasp before the game ends.

Psychout. Although you said no more changes to the game, how hard would it really be to make the L2-4 missions L2-5?

if 2-4 BOT missions would ever spawn, i'd give ya a run for your money. but so far only con and maxi missions. More con than maxi.

Still here. Still unemployed. Just avoiding forums and the like while I job hunt to actually try to get a job so I can has monies and keep my house.

Doing a few things to keep sane, but, yeah. The Internet is my bane.
