Is this Reavange and Soundwave, or just good fan art pics?

My vote is "fan art."

Reasoning:
1. Wasn't Soundwave-as-truck debunked?
2. Isn't Soundwave a bit small to be a satellite in that art?
3. It doesn't look Bay enough, so to speak. Too clean and smooth.
4. Ravage doesn't look right.
5. Wouldn't Ravage have an alt-mode? (Or is he like Scorponok?)
6. There is no Reason 6.
7. Even Michael Bay wouldn't put the Chevy logo as a bot's belly button, would he?

But that's just my two cents.
It's decent fan art, but I just don't see it being genuine concept art.
Nice find, though.

the 'insider source' over on TFW2005 that has been confirmed as legit by the head guys there was the one that said Soundwave is a truck..

Bob orci then said he wasn't.

Guess it's up to us to choose who to believe, Orci- who wrote the script or the admin on a web forum who may have been intentionally lying ot their users

With recent news from our inside source that Soundwave would be a satellite for at least part of the movie, than a rumor that he would be s pickup truck for part of the movie which was then stated false by Robert Orci, a new picture of a movie Soundwave design has surfaced.

Is this an actual picture? Or a fan made model? Supposedly this comes from a source at wforum.com, a chinese news site, but there is no direct link to its source.

So, this one should be easy to deny as true with the source being very shaky, and the idea that the pickup truck was said to be false by Robert Orci. The battle of the movie rumors continues.

Enjoy the image of Ravage and Soundwave regardless.

This is the point in which I kill myself.

This can't be real.

1) He has a visor thingy, not eyes!
2) Truck looks way too similar to Ironhide and has not been seen on set anywhere
3) To go from satellite to that truck would require him to shrink, and Bay said no one chages size

Spelling mistake is unlikely, although possible I suppose.
Would have to be an early concept, as they dropped the 'II' quite a while ago now.

This is fake. I have seen pics of Soundwave is a Hummer with a radar dish on top that looked very convincing. I think we can expect him to look something liek that. As for his robotmode, Bay should make him as close to G1 as possible.

Ravage looks great, spot-on with what I imagined he would look like.

Soundwave is... well, first that pickup truck mode has got to go. We've only had one movie so far and already they're doing another big black pick-up truck. Come on, people...

His robot mode looks alright, I like those big blue things (whatever the hell they are), but I don't like those truck parts... anything that points to him actually being a truck makes me angry. I hope Orci is right and the so-called TFW TF2 Insider is lying about that truck thing. I want to see satellite Soundwave!

Oh, and also his head design is absolutely atrocious, and does not look like anything Soundwave has ever been before.

We should remember that Jazz, as another robot with a visor, only had his visor while in "battle mode" in TF1. Similarly, the faceplate on Prime was battle mode too.
It could be that Soundwave has a face, and the battle mode looks more akin to his G1 self.
In fact, this image does include Soundwave's "crown" shaped head.

I agree, I don't like the truck mode, it is faaar to similar to Ironhide and these characters need distinction to tell them apart. I like the glowing blue sections too.

They both looked terrific. That's about as good as you're going to get with a live action Soundwave and Ravage. Very nice. I HATE that Soundwave is a truck, but as a bot, that design rules.

ravage looks great hes awsome soundwave hes not int stilight mode hes in truck mode someone screwd up on the titel in the picture i like the blue on soundwave but if they dont give soundwave that trademark faceplate that prime has i dont know how im going to feel about him.

but he does have that famout v mark on his forheasd though his head looks like crossrefrence between megatron & barricade and he kinda looks like big samurai warrior

i dissagree the whole time issen the movie i ssen jazz with his visor up once or twice but most of the time it was donw whenhe was in battle or not but i would have to watch the movie again to find out.

My point is, Jazz was designed for his visor to be part of his battle mode; there were concepts of Jazz without his visor. This Soundwave picture is also a concept design (be it real or fake) and could be depicting Soundwave in his standard mode.

Concept designs flesh out how things work, the film doesn't have to pay any particular attention to the little details; I can't really remember Jazz visor-less either.. but there were designs for it.

This images is obviously false. You can tell right away, even with one eye closed.

Actual Movie characters won't have those big blue round glass things all over the body. Even real glass parts of the cars magically disappears from the robot mode. Let alone create additional round glass parts for the robot's aesthetics only? Not! They can only happen in a toy that won't appear in the movie.

Also, the face is anime. And the hands are too human. Bay won't allow human-like hands for the Decepticons.

Ravage design is taken from Alien movie. Maybe he's even gearing up to duke it out with Predator.

It's fan-made I think. Ravage looks too bulky and seems to be having 1 eye (cyclops), and Soundwave's design is not Bay-like and the head looks too much like Barricade's.
