Why would it be based on beasts more than this year was? We already got a ton of beasts this year. We saw what Hasbro has in mind in terms of toys with the prime vote, there was only 1 beast there. Plus the theme for next year was already leaked to be about small bots becoming targetmasters and such. I am sure there will be beasts but there is no reason or hint that there would be more than this year.
And think of it this way, the titan of this year is beast themed. But is this year beast themed?

Good questions and good points. Again its just a theory I have. I'm not at all naive to the fact I could be wrong. My theory is just based subtle things like all of those beast characters being introduced into the TF Earth Wars game. But whatever is in store for the Power of the Primes line it's already made given the 2 year development time for a TF line anyways. So we're getting whatever is coming whether I'm wrong or right.

Why would it be a sign of loss? If they've already made a nice profit then they can sell the remaining stock for whatever they want as additional profit, even if that means clearing out a $15 figure for $5, it's all pure profit. I really don't understand your concept that having things in stock means you're failing as a store. Is that how things are done over there? The stores are empty until a semi truck shows up and then it's a mad dash to buy all your food, clothes, and toys before it all sells out and you have to wait for the next truck to show up? Surely you can just walk into a store and buy things as you want them, why should toys be any different?
Also, concerning online stores, little by little there are eating into the market share of the actual brick and mortal shops we all grew up with. Especially in the United States. How their sales figure will factor in the future is another matter.
This is true, but this is also why the brick and mortar stores need sales, to entice customers. That's what sales are for, to get customers in the door with hopes that they'll buy other things while they're there, not to clear out old stock. If eggs are on sale you might also buy your full priced milk and eggs while you're already there. If Transformers are on sale you might also grab a Power Ranger or Voltron Lion at full price or even another Transformers size class that isn't on sale.
In the end, all we collectors want is for the franchise not to die the way it did back in 1990. So like Hb, no more over producing of the yellow menace who shall not be named.
There's a number of reasons why the line floundered in the late '80s/ early '90s, but it would take something disastrous on Hasbro's part to really kill it today. Between the successful movies, cartoons, and comic books the toy line is very well supported.

Headmaster, yes. Titan Master, no. That's why I suggested Zarak (or whatever they might call him) be a large, between Legend and Deluxe class, Headmaster. With Titans Masters a thing of the past they're really free to do whatever they want, but would certainly still keep some form of Headmaster gimmick.

Two, Optimus Primal and Dezarus/Deathsaurus.
But yeah, we don't actually know what the theme will be in part three. Pretty sure the little robots mentioned are just to replace the Titan Master class line and not the unified gimmick of the line.

Hb can't just be churning scrap after scrap with nary the consequences. They'll kill the line if it doesn't sell anymore. They do demographic research too too see if there is a demand. And if retailers refuse to buy a particular product or line, then it is the end.

If there be sucky distribution, especially the cityformers type and they result to being sold at rockbottom prices, do we expect another set of Cityformer/Devs scale type products to be made again?

Absolutely none of that matters to hastak. They make their money from retailers buying the initial products from them. Once they make their money it's up to the stores to sell it off. Enough people buy these at full price otherwise we wouldn't have gotten past Metroplex so the people who wait for sales are not going to be the ones making or breaking Titan class. They obviously have designs done for Omega and Scorponok so they're going to happen. What comes after though is an entirely different story.

Deathsaurus/Dezarus is still only rumored as the Leader for Wave 6. No official announcements yet.

I'm inclined to say no. Japan hasn't done any exclusive Titans, just a few extras/re-engineered.
Otherwise we would have seen the likes of Metrotitan and G2 Devastator, and eventually Grand/Brave Maximus and Gigastorm.

Wait. So if the products like these slow moving Titans class don't move in the shelves it's not gonna affect Hb making them. If the retailer won't buy, what happens to a potential Scorponok then? If their orders do not fit the profit levels Hb wants? Will it be green lit or plug pulled?
Iirc even Bob Budiansky stated that "production was rolled back" because the toyline was no longer selling.
I hope bad guy Trypticon sells so that potential bad guy Scorponok also gets the green light.
