I don't think we need to speed the rotator up on a permanat basis(not unless we get a fivefold increase in alts or somethin)

I DO think we need to have a quick few rounds, like once a day to get all the alts in rotation before going back to the two week rotation.

I like weekly. Even if there's only a handful of alts changing every week it keeps things fresh.

I agree and disagree with Tammuz. I agree that the rotator should be sped up on a temporary basis in order for players to get their favorite alts. I don't agree that it should every day, though; that may be too fast. A three to five day period might be a nice medium.

the quick spin to acces the alts will take 5 rotations(for the cons anyway, dunno bout the other factions) so thats 5 days to get everything available.

but yeah a quick spin then back to longer cycles

We aren't setting it to once a day.
Might as well just shut it off and make them all available which isn't going to happen either.

i don't think you understand, we don't want it once a day forever, just until all the alts have been accessable(this is the main part get acces to all alts for a short time so we can get the ones we've lost bacl). after that, we make it either rotate once or twice a week as per the prevailing opinion of this poll

Yeah a few 5 day cycles to get the selection out there, then back to two week intervals sounds great to me.

It would be great to get people into a larger variety of alts, and then let the rare ones be just that rare.

Personally I am quite happy with the alt modes the cons have ATM, but would love the Soundwave cassette (or at the very least one of the various music players) player and a few more motorcycles out there.

Hopefully some of the minor issues like the rat alt being in the Ferocious Land Animal category (along with a number of others like sea alts in land animal categories) will be fixed before this happens?

Also, any chance of seeing tactic costs standardized and all alts getting two tactics?

I agree with this. A quick 1-2 day cycle through all of them(OR a couple days access to ALL of them as a one shot deal), then DEFINATELY back to once a week or once every other week is just fine.

Switching once a day is kind of pointless... Once a week is fine, it's not like alt modes are THAT important. As long as I get a chance to get the steam locomotive back at one point, it's all good.

Personally, I don't see a point. If you are dedicated enough to care about the alt modes, you can wait a couple weeks to get "that special one". I'm not trying to be rude or anything, like I said I want my locomotive back, but I'll just wait for it to appear on the list.

a couple of weeks? try 10 in the worse case scenario.

alt modes are important to some of us, they are the defining thing about are characters. i don't want to wait 10 weeks before i have my team back to how it should be.

EDIT: in fact why should anyone have to wait 10 weeks just becuase mkall felt that their particular alt should be rare and happens to be bottom of the list on rotations?

and then there's those of us who have nigh permanantly lost alts, In the normal course of things I'm never gonna get the Flak alt back. no amount of dedication is gonna get that back, just like those cons who had the soundwave alt or the shockwave alt.

The way I see it, if he's not going to be level 10 by the end of the year like I had hoped, Misanthropy had best be getting an alt that actually suits him. I'm gonna claw some control back.

As long as it isn't hurting anyone, people are bound to play the game the way they want. If that means getting the perfect mode for their character, eh whatever.

yeah what he said, except we've already got them once. just becuase something isn't important to you does not mean it isn't important to sombody else.

if it's not important to you why jeopardise it for those it is important to, that's just malicious.
