Just curious, where did Bay say he wanted it released? You'd think a backer of that magnitude would get the ball rolling quicker.

I took my PC game and looked and sure enough there is a lot of music excerpts in there! I ripped them on my CD and use it for my drive. It's not the full soundtrack, but it's not bad!

A couple tracks have some very faint sounds of ambience, but not horrible at all. Listening to the music cranked up in my car makes for a fun morning drive!

The tracks from the game weren't bad. Just didn't have the main cues I wanted to hear.

Well, I just went to Best Buy and unfortunately I didn't see the Instrumental Soundtrack there yet. Anyone have a good idea when it will be released?

Steve jablonsky transformers score available

Postby mackertim » Wed Sep 05, 2007 8:06 pm

Hi guys,

The official score for transformers is available for preorder from amazon and is released on october 9th. Just type in the composers name (Steve Jablonsky) and up she'll pop, it costs $12.99 which is a pretty good price for a new score. No mention of the running time yet but the cd does contain 20 tracks which is a decent amount and of course it contains the track everyone wants No. 12 Arrival to earth which contains that uplifting theme. I have a version of it already as an mp3.

Welcome aboard! And yup, we found out about it a few weeks ago, here's the original story:

They're also looking into releasing a 2-disc set, if the first score soundtrack sells enough copies. The 2-disc edition would contain everything recorded for the film, even the unused material and stuff from the videogame, which was also composed by Steve Jablonsky.
