Under the separation agreement announced Sunday, the new company, to be led by three-time Oscar winner Spielberg and Snider, will develop a number of projects now owned by Paramount, which would have an option to co-finance and co-distribute them.
DreamWorks counts "Transformers" and "Norbit" among its recent hits.

No, and the subject line "Steven Spielberg Splits!" is totally misleading. He's splitting from Paramount, but part of the deal is that he will continue to be Executive Producer on the TF films.

Norbit scored well outside America because we don't hate black people as much as your average american does, it's not rocket science. (Not sayin' racism ain't a issue here, we're just mostly pissed off at other ethnic minorities.)
Either way, i do agree Norbit still doesnt compare to TF's success.
