The only thing the Goo Goo Dolls make me nostalgic about is of a so-called friend of mine in high school that hooked up with a girl I was crazy about, got her knocked up, got engaged to her, & when she miscarried dropped her like a bad habit, leaving her an empty shell that thought she didn't deserve to be anything but miserable, shattering any chance of me hooking up with her.Neko wrote:Burn wrote:Neko wrote:Burn wrote:Neko wrote:The more and more I listen to it, the more I like it.
Can I hug you for that? It's so nice to see someone else liking it and not be all "GIVE US METAL!!!111!!".
lol. GGD happen to be one of my fav bands.
oh. so it's just fangirl bias.
lol. Not by a long shot. I don't like all their songs. Just a few that I recall from when I was little. Its more nastalgia, but I really do like this song.
I think if people stand away from it as a TF sing and listen to it as just a love ballad it's really nice.

Answer me a couple of questions.
1 - Do you know how much involvement Bay has in the actual making of the soundtrack?
2 - How do you know the soundtrack is lame when you've only heard one song?
1. We have to have a fall guy for our grievances. Bay is that fall guy. The buck stops with the PRODUCER/DIRECTOR.
2. No I have heard four so far. Only 2/4 are worth anything. Two are orchestral, and they are awesome, and befitting. One is a sappy pop cryathon and the last is some crappy rap TF "I'm a thug" piece of slag.
This said, I will still purchase the OST for the orchestral stuff, even thoughI LOATHE elevator romance music and hip hop.
So, ask me some more questions...
1 - You're blaming Bay for no reason than he seems like a good choice to blame. Poor argument. Show proof that Bay is directly involved in the production of the soundtrack.
2 - Hypothetically, 3 of those 4 could still be faked. Thus making your argument based on unconfirmed information.
1. Bay is responsible for allowing lame human love stories in a film that is about robots and their war. Humans, and their puppy love should be secondary. If it were, then this GooGoo goop would not BE on the OST.
2. Hypothetically, I submit to you that it is officially unconfirmed. However, I think I can rest assured that, um, hypothetically the scores I may or may not have obtained are, indeed, genuine.![]()
Hypothetically, as always.

Hypothetically, as always.
1 - Most movies these days have an underlying love story. That sort of thing came in before Bay picked up a megaphone and yelled cut. Yawn yawn, more pointless and needless Bay bashing.
2 - "Officially unconfirmed" is a contradiction in it's self. Thus negating your own argument. And that's not hypothetical, that's fact.
