That SS86 Wheelie may not be perfect, but I bet it will be much more enjoyable to handle than the previous TR Legends.

Sticking with the TT Legends figure for sure. Nothing about that figur looks appealing. I could settle with the wonky alt mode if the bot mode looked good but it doesn't even have that going for it. Maybe with a good discount but definitely not at full price.

The only thing going for it is a slingshot.

I'll get him for display only. The TR one IMHO looks better in both forms.

Can I get the TR mould in SS86 colours please?

This looks more like a Legion class toy than a Core class. They could have saved money on molding and just re-released the TR mold with new colors, maybe throw in a slingshot for good measure.

Never liked Wheelie much, the annoying little twerp! I have the TR version, which is light and floppy (they had to make him hollow so a Titan Master could park it in his belly). Don't think I'll go out of my way on this one. If I see one? Maybe. But why would anyone want to listen to his simpering, whiny little voice?

Sticking to TR. It was not well executed (tabbing issues), but I love its concept & play value. Its different intrepretation of Wheelie make me forget the movie character's voice in my head too, that's a bonus.

I personally like the TR version more (I enjoy the more "toyetic" look and the ability to store Titan/Prime Masters, plus the colours pop more to me), but I don't think this is bad at all for a lil to-scale Wheelie. It even comes with the slingshot accessory which is also neat.
Perhaps one could get the TR version for their toy-accurate(ish) collection and this one for their show/movie-accurate(ish) collection...if that's your kinda thing.

Starscream only tossed him because Megatron was in such a state where he couldn't fight back. And he was only in that state because of his fight with Optimus having gone so badly. And they only fought because Optimus showed up to fight him. And Optimus showed up because Megatron had attacked Autobot City. And the attack happened because the Decepticons had hijacked a shuttle. And the shuttle was hijacked because of Laserbeak spying on Optimus ordering the shuttle's launch. And Optimus ordered the shuttle launched because he needed a special run made to Autobot City on Earth, because the Autobots needed more energy on their moonbases, because they were fighting a losing war against the Decepticons, because they had finally taken full control of Cybertron, because... plot reasons.

Yeah, the guys who couldn't make a dent in the Autobots for 4 million years somehow conquer the whole planet in just 20 years. Sure, movie, sure.

It's the rare case (IMO) of an older toy being 'better' than a newer toy. I'll probably still get it because it's just a Core, but I won't be getting rid of the Titans Return one.

Pretty much same here, except I'm going to wait out a sale. Every core so far has dropped to at least $9.99 on Amazon, so I won't go any higher than that.
