Not sure if I want him to go with my alicon or if I should save my wallet some pain and stick with alicon
Also he said it! Confirmed! Something along the lines of "gnaw didn't have the gun in the movie but we wanted to make sure he had it"
Swoop better come with 5 swords lol
Considering Swoop is rumoured to come in at the Voyager price point, be prepared to be looking at other options for the swords.
I'm also guessing with the gun thing that it was just to ensure no plastic wastage.

As big a fan I am of the animated series, since they were all released together as toys, and in the comic originally, I never think of the team of Dinobots as 3 then 2 even though they had a skirmish in SOS Dinobots, it's always a solid team of 5, and that's it. But the way he said it kind of leads me to believe the next release will be Sludge, then to follow with Snarl and Swoop (or Swoop and Snarl) to complete them.

I have three TR Sharkticons, so the new Gnaw just isn't necessary for me. It looks great, but I already have an army of them.

Your Gnaw team need a leader, a big brute. So having a big Gnaw surrounded by 3 or more little ones will look really cool.

If I had a couple older Sharkticons (I only have 1), I'd so this same thing.
I was JUST re-looking at the Gnaw photos, and I don't see just getting 1. I think that looks really pretty awesome for what it is. The movie-accurate colors take the whole figure up a big notch. On top of the fact that the sculpt work is really nice.
Also, he had a really pretty generic-looking face... The robot eyes may be just a little large, but still, overall I think it's on point.
I'm almost positive I'll end up with 3 of these.

They are the 3rd wave of 2021 studio series figures. They come with other bayverse toys.

OK, but are these the second assortment of SS86 figures after Grimlock, Hot Rod and the rest?

SS86 Hot Rod was repacked in the second wave of SS figures released in 2021. So nomatter how you look at it, this is the third wave to have SS86 figures this year.
But make it easy for yourself, count it as Hasbro does, it's the 3rd wave of SS toys.

OK, so I haven't missed anything?
alekese wrote:SS 2021 wave 1 new figures: Kup, Blurr, Jazz, Scourge, Hot Rod, Grimlock
Wave 2 new: B-127, Dino, BB Screamer; idk deluxe repacks but voyager repacked hot rod
Wave 3 current reveal status: Gnaw, Wreck-gar, Slug; more traditional SS figures in these cases have had listings go up, but I'm blanking on specifics beyond Jolt and Grindor.

Anyone think it's going to be based on sales?
I know a new live action movie is due out in the somewhat near future, but by throwing-in a few G1 figures here and there, doesn't that help spread-out the regular SS figures in a more traditional/ideal way?

At this point, I'm not sure what regular SS figures are anymore.
Next year the line will have a first trilogy toy, one from AOE, several from the Bumblebee Cybetron scene, SS86 and toys for the new live action movie.

I didn't know it would include something from the first trilogy...
Wow... Sounds like a whole lotta mish-mash!!
