I like to write and I like Transformers. So I had an idea recently to do a story with Transformers. But I didn't want to do one with all characters from an actual TV series, I wanted new ones so that I could do what I wanted with their character. I compromised and decided I'd do three known ones and four that I created.
I'm definately going to do Optimus and Jetfire, and then Megatron and Starscream, but I haven't done BIOS yet because those guys don't really need one. I did some for Red Alert and Ramjet, the two known Transformers I randomly decided to have in my story, because I felt like it. I also have BIOS done for all my created Transformers. Also, if you feel like I didn't do Ramjet right, that's because I didn't grow up with G1 and don't really know what his personality is like.
The story is that both Autobots and Decepticons are in need of energon and go to Earth looking for it. Optimus brings Autobots he feels will be of use, Megatron doesn't care and has a roulette decide who comes for the fun of it. The style of each chapter is like a TV show where you can do one chapter with one idea and do the next with another. Anyway, here's the BIOS:
Ramjet – Decepticon
Ramjet was the third name to be drawn from the roulette. He was the only one of the Decepticons that were chosen to accompany Megatron to Earth that has worked with Megatron in the past. But he’s also one of the only Decepticons that doesn’t like the leader. His strategic skills and rather-not-fight attitude are qualities that can both help and hurt the Decepticons in the end.
Turncoat - Decepticon
Red Alert saw a use in discarded robot parts and used them to build Turncoat. Turncoat served Red Alert for many solar cycles until one fateful day he was severely damaged in a Decepticon raid. Red Alert had to shut him down because he had become a hazard to the Autobots. But time tends to make dents in an Autobot’s memory and no one knows what might happen if Turncoat were to be reactivated.
Longtech - Autobot
Longtech was nothing more than a troublesome rookie until Optimus requested for him to join him on a mission. Since that day Longtech has always looked to prove himself to the Autobot leader as well as to his other comrades. He has a tendency to do things without thinking but he’s always willing to do whatever it takes to correct his mistakes. Longtech is well known for making a decision and never looking back on it.
Red Alert – Autobot
Red Alert is one of Optimus Prime’s best scientist and medic. In fact, it was Red Alert that helped make the designs of the ship they were taking to Earth. So it was almost automatic when Jetfire suggested that they bring one well-trained repairbot. While it would seem to some that his ideas are a little farfetched and pointless, no one can ever argue that his results speak for themselves.
Roadwalk – Autobot
Always the more trusting of the Autobots, Roadwalk would believe just about anything he was told. So when some fellow rookie Autobots started telling him he’d been selected to join Optimus Prime on his mission to Earth, he was ecstatic. When he finally found out it had only been a prank, his hopes were shattered. But thanks to Jetfire, who had found out about the cruel prank, convinced Optimus to allow Roadwalk to join them on the trip.
Gangstorm – Decepticon
Almost equivalent in intelligence with Red Alert, Gangstorm felt he would be a great asset to the Decepticons if he were to accompany Megatron to Earth. So when his name was the first to be drawn from the roulette, he was excited. Gangstorm loves to build things if just so he can test them out. And of course, his favorite test subjects are the Autobots. He also seems to have a special grudge against all Autobots.
Mudslide – Decepticon
Mudslide’s favorite hobby is blowing stuff up or making things crumble. Whether Autobots, solid walls, or even fellow Decepticons that accidentally got in his way, Mudslide doesn’t care. But he also doesn’t care about the mission to Earth. Having his name picked second from the roulette didn’t affect that view much either. But he looks at it as a new place to smash stuff.
Landplot – Autobot
While Landplot has always done work in construction of sites on Cybertron, he’s always had a dream of one day being a warrior Autobot, fighting alongside the likes of Optimus Prime and Jetfire. The day before the Autobots left for Earth, Optimus realized they needed someone who could be useful in building a base but would also be willing to help fight if their assistance was needed. Landplot was an obvious choice.
Powerdrive – Autobot
While he wasn’t originally chosen to accompany the Autobots to Earth, he seized the chance he was given to join the Autobots in their fight against the Decepticons. Powerdrive is rather obnoxious and believes he can take on any Decepticon on his own. While Optimus sometimes has problems dealing with his personality, he can’t deny that Powerdrive has the power to back up his attitude.
Constructor – Decepticon
One of the strongest minions of Megatron, Constructor strongly believes in Megatron’s leadership. It’s the main reason Starscream was disappointed when his name was drawn last from the roulette. But if Starscream sees anything good about Constructor joining the group it would be that he isn’t at all smart. His intelligence is the only thing keeping him from reaching his goal: Megatron’s Second in Command.
Any criticism, suggestions, etc. would be helpful and appreciated.
