The faction forums are to remain up and untouched indefinitely.

If players want topics moved into their respective forums, the staff of the subfaction forums should be able to accommodate that. If not, please talk to one of us.

The subfactions are being dispersed from these boards because the idea of spawning more hasn't worked as we have planned. The Maximals and Predacons are still in their infancy, there isn't the spirit in the Autobot posters and almost all of the Decepticon players that want to be in a subfaction have joined the RDD and mostly seem content there. When we first created subfactions on Seibertron.com, it was with the belief that by now there would be several more and thus spawning some interesting relationships and activities. For a multitude of reasons that never came to be, as such we're reverting to our old policies. The the AWC, RDD, MDF and PAC desire to move to their own forums offsite, we have no problem with that.
What we do have a problem with is the current belief that if you wish to be a part of a group of players on the same faction, then you feel compelled to join the only "official" groups that seem to have been endorsed by this site. Many find it hard to continue to play when they find that they are alone in their faction, i.e. refused entry into the established groups for whatever reason or they feel that they've been bullied by the groups that they don't want to be a part of. Whether or not you wish to believe that or not isn't my concern, but it's the truth and the staff have seen it happen on several occasions.
This is why we're asking for a stop to soliciting on this site. We want players to feel that they can congregate with whichever other players they want to on their own terms. Not join up simply because they followed an ad. As such, posting recruitment links or PM-marketing are now falling under the no advertising policies of this site.
Oh yeah, Whiner-tron, please change your sig so that it's file size is within site guidelines. Thanks

So this will also do away with general discussion(like talking about a recent tv show, etc) within each faction forum, unless its in the offsite forum, correct?

So essentially because you said that the clans wouldn't be recognised other then the offical ones and therefore were implied to be illegal then it's the clans fault. I got you. That makes sense to me because I've been drinking.

But not drunk or stoned enough to understand this. Most of the setups and data I got was posted in the Decepticon forum by members of the RDD. They have never at anytime bullied me, nor have they pressured me to join. The only reason I haven't applied for them is I was waiting to be a Predacon. And the Programmer CBF to add members to that. And being a Decepticon in the PAC wasn't allowed either. I'm pretty sure you're just making stuff up to demonise the clans. But eh, that's your deal man.

To be honest 3/4 of this site's sigs aren't within the guidelines. Yours included. Shouldn't we all be held to the same standards and rules regardless of who we are? You know setting a good example and all.

We are starting the process of enforcing these rules and they will be enforced on a consistent basis for everyone.
The purpose of this thread was only to make everyone aware of the closing of the Subfaction Forums in 2 weeks so I am locking it.
