I'll say this. Despite what happened, it could have been worse. Much worse. It could have happened during the game.

Holy crap! That's crazy. You're right; thank God that wasn't during the game!

Really good footage of it happening, though.

Seriously Broncos? Seriously? I PUT MY HEART AND SOUL INTO BEING A FAN OF THIS TEAM EVERY SINGLE WEEK. EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I don't find this losing streak funny, in fact, I don't find losing any NFL game is funny at all. You know what. See you next year. I'm done. [/Anderson]

I was thinking the same about the Jets. I know, it's only 2 games, but after getting that prison sex of a game from New England, I figured they'd come back and tear **** up. AND NOT EVEN 1 GODDAMN TOUCHDOWN! NOT ONE!!!

The AFC East is gone, but they'll probaby be a wild card. They should have beaten Miami though. Really.

...and Cleveland still sucks.

I really was hoping Da Bears could put something up against the Patriots, but sadly, it didn't look like a Super Bowl preview...

...next year is Jeff Fisher's last year as the Titans' head coach. Has Bud Adams had enough? If I was the owner, I would have. Loyalty is one thing, but 1 Super Bowl appearance out of 5 playoff appearances in 16 years is just not worth any more commitments. Then again, who's gonna take THAT job? One crybaby QB ad one over-the-hill QB along with some decent defense, an awesome running back, and pretty much no receivers. Mike Ditka, please come out of retirement. This team was made for you...

BTW, f**k the squealers and the Patriots.

Seconded, but insert "Bears" for Broncos. Chicago is the second luckiest team in thE nFL.

Lucky or not, they're still hell of a lot better off than Denver. I mean, they're pretty much guaranteed a playoff spot, whether it be division or wild card, right?

ACtually, if they end up losing out- as most experts are expecting them to- they will miss the playoffs.

As a Tennesse Titans fan I'm already done for the year. Our year started out great but once we hit 5-2 the season took a slide. We are done for. Already curious as to who is available in the draft or released into free agency.

Ergo, I'm looking to my other top favs to do well such as the Steelers, Patriots and Packers.

There is so much parity in the league right now that at least it's making for some great viewing.

Wow Tennessee remembered how to win! Now if they win out, they might actually make the playoffs.

And Cleveland...really? The Bengals? Really?

Now, if only the Jets can beat the squealers...

The Patriots got lucky. Though it is fun to see a play like that return by that offensive lineman. I still can't believe if the Titans win out they can make the playoffs, that's astounding. But I hope they do. Knock off Indy finally, and show that Jacksonville is just a fluke. I was also happy to see the Raiders kick ass. I hope they win that division. So with at least a .500 performance, is the Cowboys job Garrett's to lose?

I can't believe the Titans found the composure to win a game. I don't feel bad for having counted them out and going to a movie instead. As I was grabbing a Cori's Hot Dog in Providence before the movie I was shocked to see the Titans were leading 24-3 at the start of the 3rd. When I left it was 24-10 Titans and I envisioned them blowing it and headed out to the movie(Voyage of the Dawn Treader).

The Titans still have to beat Kansas City and Indy, both away games to make a Wildcard berth. Not an easy task as the Chiefs are much improved over prior years and well its Indy@Indy. However it pans out I say trade Vince Young and get something for him while you still can. I want that unprofessional crybaby out of Nashville.

The Eagles/Giants game was a crazy ender. I only saw it in highlights but know my friend in Philly(based on his FB posts) is going nuts with excitement.

I watched the Packers/Patriots game and that one was worth the price of admission. A nailbiter till nearly the end.

THe Cowboys job is an interesting situation. Jerry Jones will want to find a big name coach to make a big splash (as his ego insists he must do) but at the same time, he will want someone who will cowtow to his decisions- both as a GM with player personnel and as the de facto head coach behind the scenes. Jones's ego is just too large to let someone else besides himself take the credit for building and winning a Super Bowl and therein lies the difficulty for him.

Bears-Vikings tonite is going to be interesting. How will the Bears bounce back from that loss to the Pats? And mad props to Matt Flinn for an amazing debut performance against the Patriots last night! Is it beyond expectation to see him sign elsewhere for a potential starting job?

Oh yeah...will the REAL New York Jets please stand up? I can't figure these guys out at all!

Oh, and Donovan McNabb getting benched...in favor of REX GROSSMAN? Wow...I just...wow...that's gotta hurt.

Props to Tim Tebow also for a not too bad job in his first start in the NFL. Never underestimate someone when they have the power of faith on their side...it can bring about amazing things.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

If you had told me at the beginning of the year that the Bears would be the first team to clinch their division in the NFC, I would have laughed my ass off. Wow. There's even the possibility of getting the number two seed! What the heck?

I wonder if these so-called "experts" you mentioned earlier lost any money on the Bears I hope they did. Now, I hope to see them in the Super Bowl. Tear up Atlanta. Tear up New Orleans (again). And all the haters can shut the f**k up.

DA BEARS!!!

And the Titans can definitely beat Kansas City, and maybe even Indy (though I doubt it) in Indianapolis. However, for the Titans to get in, everyone else in the running in and out of their division has to lose out. And that's damn sure not gonna happen.

And yes, will the real Jets PLEASE stand the f**k up! I swear I'm gonna have a heart attack during one of their games. Anyway, I got double pleasure in seeing them beat the squealers.

Grats to...

DA BEARS!

Just remember, if they face Atlanta, they'll be doing it in their house. Ryan's only lost once at home and that was to the Cutler-charged Broncos.

Some say the Falcons have been lucky all season. The only games where that happened where San Fransisco and New Orleans. Luck is only part of the game. Much of the rest was the team stepping up when it needed to.

I'll let ya know, I'd rather Falcons face the Bears than the Eagles. I had the misfortune of attending the Falcons vs Eagles game last year. Never have I been disgusted by what were once Falcon fans turned Vick worshipers.

The playoff picture is starting to take shape.

The AFC has the Jets, the Chiefs, probably the Colts, the Ravens, the squealers, and the Patriots.

The NFC has Da Bears, the Eagles, the Falcons, the Saints, the Rams or the Seahawks (depending on next week's winner), and the Packers or the Giants (also depending on next week's winners).

I'm happy to see the Jets and the Ravens in, but also the 3 teams I don't like, the Patriots, Colts, and squealers are in. Same in the NFC, I like to see Da Bears and Giants in, but don't like the Eagles. Hopefully the Rams or Packers don't get in.

Very interesting playoff possibilities. I foresee the Falcons in the SB at this point. But at this point there is also a possibility of a rematch of Super Bowl XX...which kinda scares me, because I doubt the result will be the same. One thing is for sure: the Bears have exceeded and smashed all my expectations. I stand here corrected: I give full credit to Lovie Smith and that coaching staff for a taking a bunch of guys that would likely not start on any other team and crafting them into a playoff team...despite what Jerry Angelo gave them personnel-wise.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.
