Yeah, he used a sword once in an episode of Victory, in a fight with Deathsaurus.

The sword that came with Legends God Ginrai was based on that one.

Previously, the Legends version of the sword did see release with both versions of Legends Godbomber (the individual release and the big God Ginrai giftset), so it could have come with this single MPG Godbomber if Takara had wanted to include it.

Then again, I don't think it's been confirmed how many accessories this one will have, so who knows? It's possible.

God Bomber looks awesome! I love how big and cohesive he is. Not coming with the sword isn't a big deal to me if that turns out to be true. My only complaint is the face, it's just too narrow for my liking. Did it look like that in the show at some point? The original, box art and one good screen cap I found looks nothing like that.

Had to double check and make sure I ordered the base God Bomber, thankfully the big set is only TTMall, I only want the God Bomber

The TTM set is just God Bomber with some extra "prototype" parts in an extra large box, similar to the MPG-6S Kaen big box release. Despite what people were saying earlier it doesn't come with Super Ginrai. I'm sure like 6S this set will also be on Hasbro Pulse, probably $200 or so.

Oh I figured that out, just a quick glimpse threw me off, and like Raiden, I do not need the bigger box.

Speaking of Raiden, I placed an order for an upgrade kit to replace Kaen, so that will help clean up the combined mode and give me a Kaen to play with by himself, which is good cause he is the best train and I adore him

The next round of collector-centered pre-orders have gone live on Amazon and everywhere else in Japan. Interestingly all of them are being tagged as part of T-SPARK.

The first is the highly anticipated MPG-14 Godbomber who will be available in two different flavors. The first that we had seen previously is the retail version that will be available everywhere. The second is a special Takara Tomy Mall exclusive MPG-14S that includes everything from the retail version plus extra parts to make Godbomber and God Ginrai look like the original prototype, as well as God Ginrai's sword. That set comes in an extra large box that can also store the Super Ginrai box inside similar to the MPG-6S Kaen box that could hold all 6 Trainbots. This set will likely be available on Hasbro Pulse soon.

Next up is Karakuri Statue Optimus Prime, the self transforming statue first revealed at the beginning of the year. Not much has changed in the statue itself, but the base got an overhaul making it more ornate and adding gold for contrast to the middle rotating part.

Finally we've got the Dramatic Capture Triple Takeover set. This set puts new decos on Siege Astrotrain, Legacy Evolution Blitzwing and SS86 Starscream. Starscream includes his coronation gear, but no throne this time. Even more noticeable is Astrotrain's lack of launch pad/tender.

Bad news, Buyee wont let you order it. No idea why, but I tried it out of curiosity and got a message saying it couldn't be sold overseas along with a link to a page of all the stuff that can be shipped.

Since we won't be getting a commander class Astrotrain in SS86 like we should, this might have to do. I'll just keep it in robot mode, because the other modes are ass. Blitzwing is good in robot and tank modes, and Starscream is solid overall. Hopefully it'll be an easy enough pre-order.
