Well, Soundwave and Ratchet came despite MP Soundwave having come out way a way's back and there's no MP Ratchet yet. Seems more like they're just releasing versions of these toys that were meant to come out but canceled before they could.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Anybody else think that Wheeljack is coming now due to MP Wheeljack in August?

What we two are referring is the Movie Trilogy series, meant to be released after Dark of the Moon. Of the total line-up, only the Deluxe Prime with Trailer and Evac got released, the rest got canned. Here are images of the toys in question:
Compared with Movie Advanced series, Ratchet and Soundwave were barely altered, while Wheeljack will get the G1-accurate striping.

Wasn't Soundwave supposed to have a more G1 style head too?

Soundwave's head was already stylized from G1, besides Wheeljack's new head is the alternate head for the mold shown in Autobot Que's instructions. Look up "pretools" (pre-planned retools).

Orange T-Rex - Ivan
Blue Pteranodon - Paulie
Purple/gray Triceratops - Thunderlips
Teal/yellow dragon - Sling
That is too awesome!

Southpaw = Scorn
Ivan = Grimlock
Max = Lockdown
Bruce = Drift
Paulie = Strafe
Rocky = Slash
Duke = Hound

The fact that three of these codename were made real is so insane and outrageous it's awesome.![]()
Wolfman Jake wrote:Hmmm...since Takara seems to be releasing a few canceled items from previous movie lines with the Movie Advanced branding, anyone think we might finally get ROTF voyager Megatron in proper gray/silver coloring? One was slated for release, at least in Japan, in a two-pack with a retooled HFTD voyager Optimus Prime with additional Jetfire parts for a flight pack, but the set was ultimately canceled.
