There should have been a hing point under the windshield that tucked in the lights and bumper behind the windshield to lean him out a bit. I also am not a fan of those hip panels.

Hate to say it but these pictures have me less excited than the announcement photos. I don't think the angle that the pictures were taken helps much either.

I am thinking the same thing you guys! Those flaps at his hips (hopefully) can turn upwards to cover that gap and perhaps the upper torso needs to be slighty pulled downwards to click it tight. Those last pictures look a lot better... I preserve judgement...

the dude seems to have a few flaws.. but as we've seen time and again, he is surprisingly one of the hardest characters to render justice to.

That was more Prowl. Ironhide and Ratchet were just blasted a bunch, then we never saw his face when Megatron fired the "Such heroic nonsense." follow-up.

Take a look at the picture that show the back up close. There is a vertical hinge. I think you're right about the panels moving out of the way. Except they swivel back rather than flipping up. :-B

Hm, I don't think the hip panels are going anywhere. The earliest photos (from the projector screen) were the official stock photos that Takara uses on the box and the website.

This is what he will look like (only better in hand no doubt.)

And I believe the second expression face is a general battle/shouting face.

Take two...

Did a quick 'shop to adjust some proportions. Just scaled the pelvis and "folded" the bumper and lights into the chest piece.

Yeah, it's always baffling how often the figures are misstransformed officially. At least here, it's perfect.

If the price is reasonable, it's a defenitive buy for me.
