Ya me too. Silver Snail in Toronto got them from a company in the US and none of them are modified.

The way I look at it is, if it's tipped when you get it, find a way to deal with it. I'm not saying that to be rude to anyone, but as an actual statement. No one can say for sure that they can get it with out a cap yet because no one has actually tried to get an MP-05 into their country. (seeing as it has yet to be released)

HLJ, BBTS, AHQ, none of them know 100% for sure weather they can get it with or without a cap if this rumor is indeed true.

I do not wish to sound stupid but does anyone know how this Orange-cap business applies to the UK?

Yeah, you guys are suppose to get rainbow caps.

Who are these kids again with their $100 Megatrons trying to shoot cops? If this were a Shockwave Masterpiece would there be the same controversy because in certain situations a gun looks like a gun regardless if it is a laser blaster or a pistol. If I put an orange cap on the end of a real gun can I play with it in the front yard and everyone will think it's okay?

Honestly, I think there isn't a whole lot of credibility to this story because if Takara-Tomy was going to go to all the trouble of putting the orange tip on at the factory couldn't they just alter the packaging and ship Maegatron in Robot mode? If they were really worried about being responsible toy manufacturer, they wouldn't be making a toy that transforms into such a real looking gun and no amount of orange tips are going to detract from the fact that they made the toy to begin with. Besides, they must know that people are going to pry the tips off or paint them or whatever. I'm hoping they can be shipped without the tip because the only place my Megatron is going is on my shelf next to my Optimus Prime and my Starscream.

I could care less about the darn orange cap, I want to know is how I get one, in AUS, with a money order to somewere in AUS >_< I am having the same prob with Screamer.(Who should have been movie screamer)

If this is true, I hope distributors will still be a able to get an unmodded version.

As for how it impacts the UK I am not sure. I think Alex Kingdom posted a comment about a new Toy Law taking affect in the UK later this year. Then again it might not have been AK.....or.... yea.....

Screw it! Instead of Megatron, I'll get the Robocop gun. Or maybe one of those guns from Kingdom Hearts. At least they don't have the orange cap.
