Do you want the Takara version because you like the grey shoulders better or because it's show accurate?

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

And to answer your question as to why Legion was even brought up, all I said was I like the Legion deco better than both warriors.
No. Not really, but in real life (not photos) the eye separates the two in real space better.william-james88 wrote:Cobotron wrote:Maybe tractors have lights on the top so they don't get crop dusted?![]()

Well guess what? I disagree![]()
The deco detail that strikes me the most when I think fo thunderhoof is his fake window chest (which is also fake in the show so its all good). The Legion just has that giant sticker there so its a it of a let down or me. Quick question though, can you lower the tractor rake in robot mode so that his robot antlers are more prominant and not overshadowed by the tractor rake?

That third color to break up his color layout really makes the character pop, without the need for a ton of paint apps; too bad they're no doing that on the rest of their warrior figures, as they could really use it (thunderhoof)

That's an astute observation there! 100% agree!
Although, Hasbro actually uses 4 plastic colours, one more than Takara.

I think each has their own strong points. I prefer more plastic colors than paint and overall I like the Hasbro version better because of the grey used ont he legs, arms and hands. So basically its a win win no matter which you get.Hellscream9999 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:Man, I've gotta say, the use of three plastics on hasbro's quillfire really save's him, and, I'd go so far as to say that it makes up for the lack of paint apps. You're right, I hadn't noticed, maybe that's why I like hasbro's enough; but hasbro's thunderhoof is really hurting for some paint apps, shame, he was so cool too, oh well
