I mean yeah Takara wins a gain but it's still not that big of a difference. I'm one of the few who thinks the Generations Windblade isn't that bad, especially when you pop off the heels and turn them around. I'll have to think about the RiD figure more. However, I really like that Nemesis Prime redeco.

Will stick with Hasbro's as well for windblade, especially with the current exchange rate.

Also, just curious, is it still a redeco if this is the first release of the mold from takara?

I don't bother with the technicalities for the most part, but well it's a new deco for a mold that has already been released, although not by Takara. So between the two companies and the mold in general, I'd call it a redeco. However, in Takara's case it is brand new tooling with the very first deco for the mold. I think it just depends on your point of view.

That mold had yet to come out in the US.

Fools. The Hasbro version lacks any black detail above the waist -- Takara's has that black on her head, chest, shoulder, and wrists to break up her PMS color scheme. Then there's the blue lining in her forehead that adds consistency. On top of that, the red is one color rather than being pinkish red from the waste up and bloody diarrhea for the shins, and finally it's topped off with a purple sword. Takara's version immorally violates Hasbro's piss-poor excuse HARD.

Cheers for that. I knew that they were different molds, but wanted to know if the Adventure version had enough paint details and mold design to be better or as good as the Japanese Legends release.

Another Nemesis Prime? Takara has been banging them out lately. I'm glad it too comes with the ax.

We recently saw the latest TAV figures at the Wonderfest show but it was show images so we didn't get the best look possible. Takara has released the official photos for two of their new warrior reveals, TAV 56 Nemesis Power Surge Prime and TAV 55 Windblade, and they can be seen below. Images for Hasbro's Windblade are right after the Takara ones to help show the contrast. Their Optimus is a totally different deco than the Hasbro version but if you want an idea of the mold, we have an in depth pictorial review which you can see here. These new images were found on the autobot aichi facebook page.

Okay yeah that Windblade is just so much better it's not even funny. I'm also loving that Sheath she comes with.

Wow, the Windblade mold looks really good once you actually paint it worth a damn. I've been wanting a Windblade, too...might have to pick this up.

Oh yeah and Nemesis looks hella as well. If it weren't for the fact he's not Voyager I'd so use him as my CHUG Nemesis Prime. I like him looking a little different than a direct repaint of whoever I'm using as CHUG Optimus

That looks hella and it is absolutely something I would consider. Especially considering Nemesis should imo be a bit more... violent than Optimus; so being a lot more weaponized like that works well.

I feel like there should be a little more black on Windblade to fully match the show look better, but it's still nicer than Hasbro's Windblade as is.

Dunno what original mold that nemesis is from, but he ROCK! The robot is well proportionned, and the vehicle is not ugly. Kudos! Is it deluxe, voyager, or leader?

As for that Windblade, that's one hell of an improvement over the original Generations mold! I'm looking forward the US release.

Warrior class Power Surge Optimus Prime. Remold of the original Warrior class Optimus Prime. Warriors are the Deluxes of the RID line.

It's a deluxe (or 'warrior') class, released in the US and UK as Power Surge Optimus Prime.
