Hey everyone, TF Yuki has posted some new images of Takara's TAV 21 Optimus Prime figure which was made exclusively for their market. This is in honor of the figure finally being out in retail and shipping from online retailers. These images give a very good indication of his large size which is in between Leader and Supreme class. C'mon, guys. It's not that bad. It's the price to pay for a working trailer. Plus, it's not as bad as other figures like Original RID Ultra Magnus.

Yeah, but you can't do a transformation like that on RID Prime and still have it look like the character. What they could have done is made the lower legs collapse an inch or so, but they clearly wanted to give him height.

Personally I'm not that bothered by the proportions, I don't think the legs are as ridiculously long as RID 2000 Ultra Magnus' legs and the proportions are the same as Warrior class Optimus Prime.

I'm surprised TFYuki didn't compare Optimus to his beloved Star Saber since he's the same size as Superion.

Compared to the show model, the toy have the lower legs a thigh leight too long. That's not perfection, but I'd still take this over the bricktastic mega 1/3 step changers.
