Lets see whats wrong with this figure
Robot Mode: passable The chest look like its ugly and mis-transformed with a kibbletastic crouch flap. swords look cool but as always the kabuto "gun" look so ugly I fell my eyes burning
Train Mode: OK I guess still don't see why them made him a train but wait you say its for his a DRAGON MODE to which I say
Dragon Mode: THAT'S A DRAGON!! it looks like someone took a cool looking dragons head and glue it to a pile of kibble one of the WORST! alt modes I've see even for a triple changer
Combine Mode: ..... ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME YOU GO THOUGHT ALL THE TROUBLE OF ADDING A FOURTH MODE AND YOU MAKE HIM THE ***** OF THE COMBINATION

All said and done, I only think the dragonmode is crappy. The train is o.k. and I like the robotmode. If this would be priced as a regular voyager, I might have gotten it. It's probably going to be expensive and automatically a no-no for the wallet.

And the train is phallic.

Law of averages finally caught up to them. It stands to reason that after Takara doing so many versions that rocked and having their painted versions make all of Hasbros stuff look like crap, sooner or later they'd come out with something that almost the entire fandom would universally agree on as being horrid.

This most definitely qualifies as horrid.
I was hoping that maybe it was just the magazine scans not being quite clear and that maybe this wouldn't be so bad in regular pics.
It really IS that friggin' bad!

I have to give credit to TakaraTomy for attempting such an ambitious figure. The robot mode looks better to be now that pieces sticking out the arms are covers, and the weapons are big like they should be. The dragon mode... I can see why people groan a lot over this, but think of this: European/Western dragons vs. Asian/Eastern dragons. European dragons look like Dinosaurs with wings and are usually evil, Asian dragons are more serpentine in nature (down to missing the hind limbs at times), and benign. Let that sink in

O yeah, the train mode is trainy enough, down to the pantograph on top. Let's face it, he's a big long box and it works :lol:

The combined modes of DaiKenzan and DaiGekisou are a hit and a miss, respectively. DaiGekisou just has too much going on here, while DaiKenzan is borderlining it. I like their Kabutos though, and the new mane for the lion reminds me of Great Exkaiser.

I agree, eventhough Armada Prime's combo is great. The leaders shouldn't do combiner stuff imho. Same goes for Megatron.

This is probably awesome to Japanese consumers, but to me, this is just crap. I agree that had this just been a Prime that transforms into a train it could have been kinda cool. I haven't seen anything unique to Transformers Go! that I like. But then again, I am not a big fan of many of the Japanese designs.
