EMS supposedly delivers to the front doorstep and is faster + tracking. In the country I'm assigned in, you have to picj it up the Airport hub and you get slammed with a lot of taxes.
That last sentence refers to EMS?

I made one a while ago, but it didn't take.
And I just made a new one:
http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/transformer-toys-now-available-online-t104499.php
I think we should have threads for the different retailers - Amazon, HTS... then maybe a catchall for the import sites (HLJ, AmiAmi, Anime-Export, etc.).

Its better to start with one and see where it goes. We can always split it after. And while that might mean more work later, I would rather that than spend a bunch of time doing something that no one will use. For now, let's keep talking about these new girls.

If she is more BY looking than Animated or Prime looking I'll keep her and maybe try to make/find some pincer weapons for her to hold. Slipstream I'm still mulling over. I like the Windblade mold enough, and I want lady robots more present in my collection. But I don't know what to do though, cuz my lady is starting to notice my spending habits on Transformers lol.

How are you gonna hide Devastator and the rest of combiner wars from her?

I've already warned her about Devastator. Plus I have a friend at the TRU just down the street from me who says I can use his employees discount on anything I want to. So yeah. It has also become my responsibility to ensure that we have an f-load of shelves put up for her stuff lol.

Very lucky of you! What is the employee discount? Better than 20%? By the way, I have the same problems with the wife. But since she knows I am good at finding deals and managing my finances, she is way more worried about the space than the money being spent. And with a baby soon, there is one less room to store TFs in.

I don't see why someone is SO getting his knickers in a bunch concerning this. Unless you sticky the Online retailer thread he keeps on posting about, posting it here is most convenient to help "assist" some of the recently converted to online purchases. It's like share the lootaround. So long it's focused on the particular product the thread was created for. Also, a convenient way to give fair praise or warning on which retailer to support or avoid. What's soooooooooooooooooo wrong with that?

And.............some of us without the "sticky" would have to go through reams of pages to find it.

But there's always a lot of talk about "where to buy online" and "what are they like" that I assumed the topic was warranted and would become a useful tool (like the Steal of a Deal thread). So its a bit of a bummer when something you put work into doesn't pan out.

Topics stray from time to time, and a thread can't be made for every contingency. When things get out of hand, its taken to PM's and new threads. Not everything I read is "for me" but that doesn't mean I'm going to tell everyone to take it elsewhere.MartianSpyGirl1996 wrote:Because it's not on topic. I already said this, I'm not subscribed to a Takara thread to read about retailer return policies. Take it to PM if the other thread is too complicated for you.

Given how the extra bells and whistles like SDCC Metroplex gives those companies the reason to jack up the price.Still, maybe the limited collectability is the selling point.

One more accessory and a different color scheme and BAM! Double or triple the price! Yeah, I understand the fact that these are limited and classified as collector items. Without going all Rated X and moan about the injustice, I find myself indulging in these from times to times for many deluxes and some voyagers. However, when the initial price (that will be doubled/tripled) is 100-150$ for Metroplex or Devastator, I say a huge NOPE.
On a side note, the good old Generations Metroplex sell now for 200$ easy on Ebay. Many dare to ask 300$ or even 500$ for it! Metroplex is being Fortmax'd. And ironically, the superior G1 Fortmax Encore #23 is on clearance at 250$ in many places and he's shelfwarming.

As far as blunt deadly weapons go, MP-01 is a really good one!
