I LOVE his head. I know its big, but it has so much personality. And I love that the takara version elongated it by adding his traditional antenna at the top. I wonder how that works with the titan master though.

Sabrblade wrote:Hasbro's Blurr has the head fin in the stock photography. Who's to say that the Blurr on display at BotCon wasn't a pre-finalized sample?
Wait wait wait WAIT!! As I look closer, is it possible that the antenna is just folded down in the Botcon photo? It appears to be sitting flush to the Hasbro head, based on these two pictures. So, maybe Hasbro's does still have that antenna...
Clever

I assumed it did push in like that anyways when turning into a lil dude. The person who posed that Hasbro Blurr just forgot about it most likely.
I don't find Blurr's head big at all really. He just looks young and non-bulky which suits his character fine.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Looking at the Scourge figure, I find it novel that the headmaster figure sits in a cockpit located where scourges head would pop up to look around in the cartoon.

Yeah, that's pretty neat.
I'm still not sold on non-Headmasters now being Headmasters, but that Legends Blurr still looks fantastic with that toon deco.

So I'm not sure if the heads between the TR Blurr and Legends Blurr are different(besides colors) Looks like TR Blurr is able to have the thingy on his head be taller.

And a new pick of Legends Blurr just popped up here: they are the same head.

So it looks like only the original headmasters will be getting redone faces, which makes sense given they were the main cast in the headmasters toon. Can't wait to see their cerebro/fortress

All those pics can be found earlier in the thread. I dont know why dengeki hobby puts their watermark, these were clearly Takara's pics :
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ave/35124/And while its cool that people who dont import (or dont know to) can get this fun feature, the fact that Takara paints the whole headsculpt, adds to how special this feature is and makes it more obvious. Its so cool that as with combiner wars, Takara is treating these new figures as if these are the ultimate renditions of the characters.

It was a bigger picture. So better able to see detail.

Hard to say. There's only 1 shot of his head and I don't have that great of pictures of TR Scourge to compare.

Yeah, about 36$ (4,000 Yen). If you can get the free shipping at TFSource (I cant because I am canadian), I recomend you go that route.

Dammit. It may literally come down to what is available for how much. Either hasbro or Takara. both have ups and downs for me. it will all depend on what is happening when they are released

That stance looks cool. But overall I think this is a C+ effort of the mold. What's going for it is the fact that the 2.0 version was so crappy that any improved version would be welcomed.
Hasbro's version of Galvatron will do (I prefer that color more) but I'm hoping that 3rd party has the sense to be already working on a new head with crown attached as well as a better arm cannon or port that can place it on the side of his arm instead of always being on top like that. Other than those skinny thighs which I guess can't be changed, I think the figure is alright.
