TWINS!?!?!
You're gonna need a Fort Max just to contain the mischief of twins. Tell that to Mrs. Memph.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I noticed that too!! So you need Metroplex (if you don't already) AND Fort Max..OR you need Takara and Hasbro! OR G1 and TR Fort Max! Depends on the type of twins (identical, fraternal)!!Cobotron wrote:MemphisR56 wrote:Thanks guys! MemphisR56 wrote:Steady now gents! It's just gender neutral pronouns! No twins in the pipeline. I'd be pretty psyched if there were, but sadly not. This is exactly the sixth time I've had this exact conversation now, I had no idea it would confuse people so often!
Sabrblade has a firm point also. Not showing cerebros and spike definitely feels like theres some suspense being deliberately built up for something but even that could just be for a really creative decco.
Yeah, it is, considering how beholden to cartoon-accuracy Takara is when it was Fortress's brother who had the Pretender shell.ZeroWolf wrote:MemphisR56 wrote:Steady now gents! It might be because theyre sizing up a pretender shell for fortress okay, that one is pretty crazy, even for Takara!

Ok, no twins. Gender neutral it is. Congrats againMemphisR56 wrote:Steady now gents! It's just gender neutral pronouns! No twins in the pipeline. I'd be pretty psyched if there were, but sadly not. I'm pretty certain I will end up with the Takara version, they HAVE to do "Fortress" and his transtector, and that's what I want!Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, it is, considering how beholden to cartoon-accuracy Takara is when it was Fortress's brother who had the Pretender shell.ZeroWolf wrote:It might be because theyre sizing up a pretender shell for fortress okay, that one is pretty crazy, even for Takara!MemphisR56 wrote:Sabrblade has a firm point also. Many thought the same about Encore Fort Max leading to Grand and Brave redecos. But then again, the Titan Fort Max might be cheaper to make than the Encore, so there could still be hope for Titan Grand and Titan Brave redecos. But then again again, people thought the same about a Titan Metrotitan redeco from Metroplex, and no one ever did that either. So... Who knows what they'll do.itscramtastic wrote:And, well, they could ALSO be sizing up for the eventual Grand repaint...why make one version when you can make two?!

Yeah that's true, they may still show up!! Also was Metrotitan "Zone"?Sabrblade wrote:Many thought the same about Encore Fort Max leading to Grand and Brave redecos. I thought he was. I feel like there's less of a "Zone" following so the chances of Grand as a redeco of Fortress would be more of seller than the Metrotitan Metroplex variant. Or maybe not. Hmm..Sabrblade wrote:Metrotitan was from the Zone toyline, yes.Kurona wrote:Yeah, the decepticon redeco of him. Metrotitan was the first thing people thought of as a reuse of the Metroplex mold, with many posts on here from back then anticipating it and many other posts from afterward disappointed that it never happened.itscramtastic wrote:I thought he was. I could see that being disappointing. A hard to come by figure finally given the chance of a modern take that didn't come to fruition. And even though "one Decepticon is one too many" (or so claims Kup) it's always nice to have a direct foil to the herobotSabrblade wrote:Metrotitan was the first thing people thought of as a reuse of the Metroplex mold, with many posts on here from back then anticipating it and many other posts from afterward disappointed that it never happened.itscramtastic wrote:I thought he was. From what I've heard about Hasbro's stance the subject, though, I've read that Metrotitan didn't happen from Hasbro because the current Hasbro team didn't even know who Metrotitan was or that he even existed. Takara, however, has no excuse aside from the cost issues of doing an obscure redeco of such a big figure.

Truth!! I mis-spoke (or mis-typed in this instance). I forget, was there anything newly remolded for this specific release?

I bet that one that designated Starscream as "Anakin SkywalkerThe Chosen One" was Metrotitan and then Necrotitan was Metroplex's dead universe counterpart! Or something..ZeroWolf wrote:They could of went with one of the generic titans from the IDW comics like the one who chose starscream or the one turned into a zombie by shockwave.

Aren't these "Legends" ones the most accurate so far (i.e. Springer)? It's like they just keep getting more accurate each time, to take your money!!william-james88 wrote:Yeah the legends one, ok so its just a redeco.
