You know, if Takara wanted to, I could see them doing a special exclusive or campaign figure release of the Rebirth Cerebros head and body without Fort Max as the actual Rebirth cartoon version of the character with Spike as his Headmaster, with a bio describing him as the Rebirth cartoon incarnation who controlled Fortress Maximus in another timeline from the one that Fortress controlled Battleship Maximus in, allowing Takara to treat "Fortress" and "Cerebros w/ Spike" as separate characters, and allowing Takara to do a show-accurate version of Rebirth Cerebros (Hasbro's has blue in its deco for some bizarre reason).Cyberpath wrote:Also wish that Rebirth-Cerebros were sold separately so I could pose him with the other Headmasters. Because Fortress Maximus is where I draw the line.

Ironic, since it was Cyclonus who said that line.Kurona wrote:Ah, the old "want me to gut ultra magnus?"

Scourge isn't the one speaking. Scourge's head pops up, but its mouth doesn't move. The voice itself wasn't even Stan Jones. It was Roger C. Carmel. Cyclonus has a total of two lines in the whole movie. "You want me to gut Ultra Magnus?" and "The Autobots have been terminated!" are the only lines Carmel says as Cyclonus in the whole movie (any other lines he had were spoken by a Quintesson).RodimusConvoy13 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Ironic, since it was Cyclonus who said that line.Kurona wrote:Ah, the old "want me to gut ultra magnus?"
No, it wasn't. Galvatron was riding in Cyclones at the time. Scourge pops his head up and says "You want me to gut Ultra Magnus?"
Galvatron says "There are plenty of Autobots for you. Ultra Magnus is mine!"

Insurgent wrote:Those two lines always sounded more like Scourge to me. Granted Cyclonus was inconsistent in the series, but both times in the film, Scourge is right beside Galvatron. And like I say, to me, it sounds like him.
You know what? I'm gonna have to watch that film again tonight and double check.

The best way to end the argument is to look for the actual movie scripts. Does Sorensen also own a copy and posted online?
Never mind

Preliminary script of the movie. Some of the lines made it into the Marvel Comic adaptation. And Scourge did the cool pop up head but the line "gut him" is attributed to Cyclonus.

One line, spoken in a voice ridiculously different from Cyclonus's voice: "But remember, WE belong to HIM!"Kurona wrote:Did Scourge even have any lines?

Scourge's only lines given are "But remember, WE belong to HIM!", and a line that didn't make it into the final movie: "No survivors!"
