I did say "similar", as in, similar enough to make it work, in combination with the faction "Cybertron". Despite the minute difference in pronunciation, some Japanese media did write "Cybertron" for the planet.

None taken, but the Japanese did say both "sigh-ber-tron" and "say-ber-tron" back in the day. It's just they used "sigh-ber-tron" for the good guy faction instead of the planet (as we English-speakers do), while using "say-ber-tron" for the planet instead.

That touch on the blaster is one of the things I like least about Takara's. Having owned a G1 Scourge for almost 30 years, it just seems super wrong to me for that (particularly as a sensor in ship mode) to be anything but solid blue with a red dot.

That's how it was on the G1 toy and animation model. Blurr always had an open gap behind his cockpit. The animation model even rendered the gap as an open air convertible-esque cockpit (only minus any converting roof). And IIRC, since Blurr was one of the TFTM-original designs, the cartoon model for him came first, so it's the toy that didn't fully capture the open cockpit look of the cartoon:

Starting from the bottom half of the second page, there are five panels. The far right panel with everyone happily reunited comes first, then the top-left panel with Minerva berating the Cancer and Bullhorn comes next, followed by the three bottom-left panels from right-to-left. In this order, Minerva is happy to see Cancer again, but with her being the most responsible one of the young humans, it's natural for her to also berate Cancer and co. for their making her worry. It's like how a parent would be both happy to see their child but also scold them for their foolishness in this kind of situation. Minerva may be within the same age range as the others, but she's certainly the one who acts with the most responsibility on her shoulders by having to keep everyone else in check. That's how she is when working with a bunch of knuckleheads.

But please don't change the Japanese names. These characters aren't Nebulans or Cybertronians, and we're all Transformers savvy enough to know who they are. Masterforce and its characters are well liked by those who have seen that show. Ginrai is not Optimus, Cancer is not Squeezplay, etc. There needn't be any Westernization of the names for these characters presented in this story that's written to be in accordance to the Japanese continuity, as anyone with any real interest in this would be looking at how it's related to the Japanese continuity, rather than any of the English ones.

Fortress and Grand are brothers. Fortress is gray and Grand is teal. Unlike like Fort Max, Grand Maximus is not as super gigantic as Fort Max, so he can better interact with God Ginrai and such.

None taken at all. However, I did have my wife (who's a native Japanese) review this before posting it So if there's any nuances that were missed, I'm blaming her!

Ah. I remembered Fortress and Grand were brothers, but forgot Grand was so much smaller in Maximus mode. Being colourblind, I can see the difference in the toys between Fortress and Grand in their non maximus mode, but not in the comic. Thanks!

Then I get a notice today from TFSource. I had forgotten I had, on impulse, grabbed him there while the preorder was still available. Here's my happy dance from getting the notification that he is in stock today and shipping soon...
