This mode was shown in the pack-in comic as presenting the body as a droid before Black Convoy's little Headmaster bonded with it.

The base mode is also from the pack-in comic. It's most likely an attempt to recreate Black Convoy's original Battle Base.

Who comes up with those extra modes?

Using the tail as a mono-eye like the 2007 Movie Game Decepticon drones is pretty good, just needs a little dab of red paint. Kinda remind me of Movie Overcast. And wouldn't it be a slight reference to the Eldedroids as well?

the gun also keeps falling apart, the tip just falls off. It s very hollow (didn't know Takara was saving on plastic now).

Do you mean the shoulder cannon? If so, it's hollow because it has a storage compartment for a Headmaster/Titan Master:

I was referring more to the underside of the front of the shoulder cannon It's just hollow for no reason and the silver tip on mine is not very tight, so it keeps sliding off.

The storage compartment by the way can have the titan master sitting up.

You can also sit 2 titan masters in God Ginrai's chest cavity:

And Yes, the helmet pegs onto the back of the cannon and looks like part of the gun, so doesn't look like a helmet stuck to it.

Since they are both the same mold as this like Prime here, and Black Convoy, they should work the same and should be able to transform into the base mode.

Aye ok.....the price of the fig actually works out cheaper than Kapow, but when you add the shipping cost, it goes waay over

+ i don't get why LG43's waay dearer than the Hasbro one anyway coz there doesn't seem to be any noticable differences other than maybe the paint apps
(& yeah yeah yeah....just coz one's Takara & the other is Hasbro doesn't mean to say that's the soul reason for a price jump)

Not quite: Octone's wings are a solid piece and don't fold up. You'd end up with a base mode without proper ramps.

Or it was to, well, get rid of any visibility of the wings in robot mode since Laser Optimus Prime isn't supposed to have any wings.

Not quite: Octone's wings are a solid piece and don't fold up. You'd end up with a base mode without proper ramps.

Takaratomy Mall dropped a huge bombshell of images on us today! While it's all product we already knew about from the recent Tokyo Toy Show 2017, it's certainly very nice to get some good, clean, clear photography of LG50 Sixshot, LG51 Targetmaster Doublecross, LG52 Targetmaster Misfire and LG53 Broadside. Through this we finally get a good look at the new Targetmaster molds for Misfire and Doublecross; the many modes of Sixshot and Broadside - who still has a very unconvincing Jet mode - and the Repugnus figure that comes with the latter. However, we also get a few neat surprises - Doublecross' headmaster is indeed painted to better resemble the Beastformer White Leo he was molded after... and it turns out Sixshot's headmaster figure is completely new! It now resembles him in Robot mode and has slightly different shapes for the head mode, unfortunately removing the rather sick reference to Jack from The Headmasters in the process. Nevertheless, have a look at the huge slew of images below and tell us what you think in the Energon Pub!
