It really wasnt that bad. The only one that sounded super odd was Silverbolt. And I would hve preffered Jon Bailey for Optimus but it wasnt bad either. I liked the idea of a stunticon combining with superion to ground him.

Come to think of it I'm not sure who the biggest Decepticon was in Marvel with both Tryppy and Scorponok being closer to normal TF sizes than the cartoon versions.

Yeah bigger than most but far, far smaller than his cartoon version.

That picture of Trypticon versus Metroplex is an amazing example of perspective and how it affects scale. I'm fairly certain that Trypticon is at least a few inches shorter than Metroplex, but because of the angle of the camera and the fact that Trypticon is closer to the camera than Metroplex, plus the fact that Metroplex is bent at the knees a little, it makes them look like they're about the same height in this photo.

I don't need Trypticon to be the same height, just wanted to point this out to all of you so that you're not disappointed that Trypticon isn't the same height as Metroplex.

But it was before I got into TF collecting and getting into the fiction. So now there would have been so much fun stuff I could have spoke to him about or asked him to draw for me instead of just asking him to draw me batman

Thats too bad. He didnt seem to mind G1 Joe too much, he seemed to like collaborating with Larry Hamma.

Surprising as he also penciled Shogun Warriors, another toy franchise. Anyways, TF was like a b#stard child which no one wanted to care for except , well until it was dropped on Bob Budiansky's lap.

They confirmed that Necro is based on Wipe-Out at Toy Fair. In fact a search for Necro on TFWiki (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Necro) redirects to Wipe-Out.

I didn't know that. I just complimented the nod/homage/inspiration to Wipeout. Is it a crime to compliment the designers' choice?

The listed weapon is probably just Full-Tilt's gun. Catapult though, that's not something we've seen mentioned before.

Maybe, maybe not. It could be a matter of interpretation. Its not listed as an additional feature (over the Hasbro one) unlike the additional weapon, so my guess is that they are just referring to the launching mechanism on the ramp.

Both the gun and the catapult are listed as additional parts on the part list, a built in launcher would be a toy feature and not on the list. Hasbro's product description doesn't mention anything about a launcher on the ramp. Where a launcher would be is a big empty space where the center tower of the city mode pops out.

ANYWAY, AmiAmi raised their price for some reason, going from 30% off to 28% off. They usually don't start doing that for a while after the first listing, most often not until it's been released, certainly not the next day. Makes no difference to me, it's cheaper to buy the Japanese Titans domestically than to import them once you factor in shipping. I've got one on order from TFSource as I did with Fort Max (Legends and Encore), will probably save me $50 in the end. Though if the TT version ends up not looking much different from the Hasbro version I'll cancel.

So more or less the big bruiser is coming in September 2017. Domestically, with the Bayformer line must be taking priority for Hb, will this push out an early release schedule around June?

Also, back story wise, if Metroflex' upgrade has quadrupled his size to that of Fortmax, then the lack of Brunt like that of Slammer and Sixgun would be conveniently an explanation of incorporating them into the main body leading to their increased scale fiction wise.

It is my favourite shop, it helps out international buyers who get customs fees when they import elsewhere.
