Sakamoto-senpai delivers again. I love the little "Blurr Transport" on the box in that one panel. Also, Godbomber looks like a metric tonne of fun. Violence Foot mode AND Headmaster compatibility fun? Hell yeah!

Oh boy I cannot wait for my Godbomber to arrive. Out of all toys I have and seen I think Godbomber may be the best valued toy. This guy cost me $110AUD and it has Headmaster gimmick, UW/CW gimmick with his two legs swappable with any UW/CW toys, its leader sized with 3 alt modes and can combine with Opti-I mean Super Ginrai.

I wonder if I can turn those thighs downwards when I have Godbomber combined. I could get my 2 Aerialbots and connect it there for extra thrust. This toy has so much play value for its price.

Thanks again to Loopaza Mega Store on Facebook, we have scans of the comic that accompanies the release of Takara Tomy Transformers Legends LG-42 Godbomber! The pages - currently still in Japanese - show off Minerva, Godbomber, part of the Grand Galvatron and Megatronia teams - and the possibility for Godbomber to combine with those Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors limbs!

Thanks to Twitter user hikui_low, and fellow Seibertronian ScottyP, we have photo proof that Takara Tomy Transformers Legends LG-42 Godbomber does indeed allow for Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors compatibility, as shown in the comic scans that came with the figure! Also included below are some additional shots of the toy, and how it combines with Super Ginrai. Check it out!

Given how the current team at Hasbro has noted that they're thinking ahead as they design figures, it is conceivable that this is the case.

And when I look at the Titans Return beast figures, I can see where chest pieces could be replaced with combiner ports without too much hassle.

And more food for thought - it's preferred to get a few remolds/repaints out of a figure to get their money's worth, while Weirdwolf and Doublecross have not been remolded (yet).

Apex Armor will be the same as Godbomber (with more decos and guns, like Magnus Prime) in one of those boxsets, we will just wait soon until the final wave of Titan Return is released

Meant to come in and clear this up but WeatherManNX01 pretty much nailed it, so thanks for the assist!

In a little more detail, we can look at Weirdwolf:

Does it need remolding? Yes, but if you look carefully, the parts that make the Headmaster attach are a separate piece. Take that out, do some minor rework for the port, add a new head, add Doublecross' arms, do some other minor retooling, then tweak the colors just slightly = oh look, Sinnertwin. Doublecross' body style is very Rippersnapper-like in stature, so again just some arm piece swapping and retooling for the Terrorist Shark head. Need a weird shrimpy body for Blot? Hello, Mindwipe, who also has some stuff one could use on a Cutthroat. The only missing piece is the torso, and boy howdy does Godbomber have a big blocky chestplate like Abominus. Not sure how you'd get a Hun-Grr out of the rest but he is parts-formery, so there's that.

Also this latest Legends comic has me wishing I'd picked up the CM Corp Nightbeat version of Minerva back when it was dirt cheap. Just did the regular Minerva and Ginrai releases.

i have a feeling on who the pack in headmasters for Bumblebee and Seaspray might be when they are released. Bumblebee most likely will come with the US Cerebros head who is Spike for obvious reasons. But for Seaspray, I'm thinking Minerva repainted from Ptero and maybe using parts from Goshooter or Nightbeat. I just think Ptero's face would make for a good Minerva

Same. I'm just waiting for BBTS to list the Magnus Prime set. I hope there is a Hasbro release of God Bomber / Apex Armor. Seems like a waste if there isn't, and I'm afraid getting the Takara version at that point would be pricey.

Though, the pic of the little Headmaster dude placed inside the missile launcher did bring back memories of Spock's "Wrath of Khan" funeral.

Nightbeat never had a direct Japanese counterpart, neither did Siren or Hosehead, or the rest of the Headmaster Jrs. and Pretenders for that matter. They were all reimagined as new unique characters for Masterforce. For all intents and purposes, Nightbeat's "counterpart" would be Minerva, on the same note Siren's would be Goshooter.
HOWEVER, this is a rather clever reference to a mailaway version of Minerva done in US Nightbeat colors, called Minerva Nightbeat (Goshooter had one too called Goshooter Siren). Apparently it's been repurposed as an alternate, evil version of Minerva, using the generic mass-produced Nightbeat suit.
