So do the Hasbro ones. The official photos are pretty clear, there are 2 solid panels with the engines in the chest cavities, with one of the TM's as the head.

On the Hasbro version, it's nothing. It just looks like a button. And Takara's Mega/Giga are molded in unfortunately.RustedCross wrote:Can anyone tell me what the button in the middle of Overlord's chest does?
Is it possible that it might be used to push out Mega and Giga on the Takara version?

why the #%¢€ are they reissuing figs like Metroplex(Generations), Ultra Magnus & Arcee(CW)? coz didn't people buy those the first time around?(or the second! with the Takara repaints, or in the case of Metroplex...maybe even a third! with the SDCC version)

Metroplex had nothing to do with that poll.Qwan wrote:Stuartmaximus wrote:Can I just do a wee rant here!

Well for Metroplex at least (I'm not 100% certain on the others but I think the same applies), Takara did a poll to see which older LG figures fans wanted a reissue of, and these were the ones that got the most votes. So yes in fact, apparently people didn't buy those the first time round and wanted another go, hence the reissues.

is that the Takara box!
yaaay![]()
just wish this thing would hurry up n ship from Kapow
one reason that the box could be larger is that Tryp's legs could be already attached(unlike the Hasbro one) or maybe he's packaged in Nemesis mode? coz when I got theMetroplex his arm was already attached(again...unlike the
one)
but... it's disappointing to hear that it's just the exact same thing(Trypticon) as theversion, with absolutely no changes except for maybe some paint apps(I thought they might've at least improved the stickers or painted Full Tilt's windshield)

yes! I understand that there are probably a select few still out there that haven't got Metroplex yet, so why would they wanna buy this reissue at FULL PRICE!!! when they can simply buy him CHEAPER with one of the previous releases(![]()
SDCC)
so...some marketing strategy...eh?
