Still, that black paintjob looks GORGEOUS.

Incidentally, God Ginrai uses a westernized "goddo" (ゴッ) in his name because it's meant to be a play on Gojira (a.k.a. Godzilla) if you remove the correct syllables (Go* Gi*ra*).

actually I really like what they are doing here. I know its another character but it makes me want to have him stand in as Needlenose.

I was also thinking about he Needlenose connection.

I thought Needlenose was a grey jet? Or am I missing something?

In the comics, Tracks and Needlenose are brothers, and the Loudpedal head is very Needlenose-like. So the jump is just a minor stretch of the imagination, fully understanding the alt mode and colors aren't quite there.
Just for clarify, this brotherhood between the two is specifically in the IDW comics, rather than all of them.megatronus wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:megatronus wrote:Optimizzy wrote:Delta Magnus wrote:I kinda hoped that this would use the Road Rage version of the mold if only so we could get a Deceptifemme in the MP line.

Hyperspeed Wheeljack's red design didn't resemble Marlboro's red chevron. And it's altmode wasn't an exact match for the real world racecar that promoted Marlboro.Optimum Supreme wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote: I think the only hope for these now would be Takara, as Hasbro never had much interest in Diaclone homages.
Hasbro did release legends size Prime "hyperspeed" Wheeljack in an homage to the Marlboor deco (to absolutely no ire of Phillip Morris, somehow).

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
