Gah, he looks so good from the front! if only that backpack had been shrunk and tightened up to the back ever so slightly he would be amazing

The backpack doesnt bother me, its that gap which makes his body look really weird at the side. As if his body is either split or snaking in the front with the backpack being an accessory rather than an extension. Wheeljack looks amazing!

I have never questioned Wheeljack. That guy screams Masterpiece and truly is amazing

The backpack isn't even supposed to be that much of a backpack. It's supposed to be more like a large hood that goes over his head rather than behind it.

While I understand the idea of limitations, I also don't believe in being too forgiving. This reminds me of all the fans saying that there was a reason Scrapper didnt have elbows for combining into generations Devastator. He didnt have elbows for stability. And it was almost accepted as a sad fact of life. But then we realized it wasnt true. He could have been improved upon, big time, and he was.

So while I totally get that limitations exist, I am never convinced that something could not have been done better. And my expectations do get loftier the more money I spend on a toy being released.

I would actually MUCH rather get Wheeljack than Tracks, just because the transformation is better, and the backpack doesn't look awful. >:oP

Fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath has pointed us towards ACtoys.net and their pictures of the upcoming Masterpiece MP-25 Tracks. They can give you a good idea of how he will look like in your masterpiece collection by comparing him to other carbots and Optimus Prime. There are also comparison pictures with Alternators Tracks. Let us know what you think of the figure, in comparison to the others, now that these pictures are available. Are you eager for him? Have any of these new photos made up your mind? Let us know!

Agreed. But the gap does make his torso seem like it's too frontwards no? That's more my issue with him. Car looks amazing though and some of those action poses are really cool.

Despite what i will say about his robot mode gap, the vehicle mode is just simply amazing, a true beauty. And as a car fan myself, it is a beauty

I see what you mean - from the side, it does look that way. But I'm overall happy with how he's looking, and I'm still curious whether the backpack will necessarily rest at an angle or if you're able to adjust it.

I'm just excited to get Tracks (and Road Rage!) in hand.

He's got more paint app details unlike the previous cars. And his sigil is different and his hood is reversed to that of the original G1 figure. Will wonders ever cease?

Btw, on a slight deviation, Sideswipe's back pack ain't that bad because that the max you can put in on given his earth mode design. I doubt it you can squeeze the figure any further.

Since we are getting a MP Road Rage from this Figure I would expect takara to make an MP Black Tracks since they want to make the most uses out of an masterpiece figure for characters and If they do they should give Black Tracks an Resemblance of the orginal g1 Black Tracks Head Sculpt

November 7th release for this right? Looks mostly good, can't wait to get it.

I did say "mostly" good though. The face is does not remind me of Tracks, which is not a good thing for a Masterpiece figure. Actually, the face is pretty poor in general, very strange expression.

I was just thinking this the other day. I remember how jazzed we were at each binaltech release, and how amazed at how awesome they looked. Now, I hardly think about them compared to the Masterpiece line. So funny how things change with time.

Do you preffer it to Ramjet's MP face? I found that one pretty poor. Actually, thinking about it, the MP faces tend to not work out as well when the robot has a mouth.
