GENIUS! Thank you! I knew there had to be a alt mode storage. I just couldn't find it. This is why these forums are great.guarayakha wrote:Quick fix for the head tipping backward: Just pull on it so it "clicks" forward a notch and have it tip forward insteadLooks better that way too. Also pretty sure his gun stores on either pegs on his buttcheeks for altmode.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Lol, I just happen to take a look at the manual, that's all...![]()
Mini Blaster plugs into that notch in the center, btw (which makes no sense for a car, but I guess Tracks doesn't have a built-in stereo like Jazz does
)

Just get yourself an accordion file to keep your manuals (and spec cards) in for your stuff on display (which in your case is everythingCobotron wrote:Don't be. I should be the one who is

Thanks again.
Oh Crambone, I have an entire file cabinet dedicated to such things. Going down to rifle through it isn't really the issue, it's more my inability to read Japanese.itscramtastic wrote:Just get yourself an accordion file to keep your manuals (and spec cards) in for your stuff on display (which in your case is everythingCobotron wrote:Don't be. Thanks again.). Or at least your new stuff. No more basement trips!!

With my tiny display, I have a clear plastic accordion file with all of the manuals/specs and then a small clear bin for any not in use accessories!

Yeah, I had to re-organize all of my bins (when I was creating my list-o-figures) and ended up getting stuff for my "on display" figures.Cobotron wrote:Good answer.itscramtastic wrote:Yeah, but, like, "new" stuffCobotron wrote:Oh Crambone, I have an entire file cabinet dedicated to such things. Actually "new" stuff's paperwork usually clutters my desk for 3 months before I file it away. I just happened to be on the ball this week.

Yes, back on track, didn't want to be burned or anythingCobotron wrote:Way to get back on T Cram!itscramtastic wrote:How does the blue compare to Bluestreak?
I have actually been looking at that for a while now. It's like 98% the same. Streak's blue seems a tad darker, but only by like a micron.(the measurement. Not the toy)
I first started inspecting it after taking this photo.
But I did a tiny bit of color correction on this pic. To the naked eye it is just slightly different, but with the same amount of metallic fleck.
I would guess the two plastics use the same color and fleck formula, it's just the difference in batches.itscramtastic wrote:Yes, back on track, didn't want to be burned or anythingCobotron wrote:Way to get back on T Cram!itscramtastic wrote:How does the blue compare to Bluestreak?

Also, I noticed that the colors were a little off, figuring it was tweaked due to the red probably. Cameras sometimes don't like red (jerks!).

Recommended buy? If you can go pass the neck issues, I say get him.

Thanks. Much appreciated. From a very biased source

The transformation is ingenious, yet not overly complicated. Car and robot accuracy are spot on.
My only real complaint is that you can't store his gun and Blaster at the same time in car mode.

You know what Fenrir, I somewhat preffer biased reviews. It helps me see where the reviewer is coming from and gives me an idea if I would like a toy. If I think monkey arms are fine but a reviewer is bashing a figure because it has monkey arms then I will at least know that the main issue with the figure is something I have no problem with. Like Thew, he says why he loves a figure instead of just showing us what the figure has. I can see if I share the same likes and dislikes as biased reviewers and that helps me even more in figuring out if the figure is for me.
For example, you have a problem with the neck. Everyone said it was just pics and stuff but once you have it in hand, its fine. But you still saw it as something worth mentioning, which definitely hits home for me.
I also find biased reviews (like Thew's) far more fun to read and watch that just a description of the figure's joints and deco (I can tell that from galleries myself).
All to simply say, keep on rocking in the free world!
D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Having read several reviews as well as watched them, The car mode alone is enough to convince people to buy him. That is an amazing alt mode. And I love his flying car mode, ridiculous as it may be. Enough so that if I did get him, that is probably the mode I would display him in. The robot mode issues still persist, but they can be excused somewhat by the other 2 modes.

His back issues remind me of this:
Getway's neck clearance is somewhat similar. Can't bee see based on the angles but it is very similar.
