I guess there is some decent enough Upgrades for the Hasbro set but you are not likely to get the guns with that and - you might still want to consider some repro-labels to add the missing details - if you are the kind of person who like chevrons on their Constructicons (I do).
So if there is much chance of you wanting to keep the Constructicon in individual mode then I would guess that the Takara one makes a lot more sense - for simple display the Hasbro or SDCC one is fine I guess.
To be honest I've more or less discounted the Hasbro one for the time being short of a heavy sale as I'm not really feeling Longhaul's design much compared to the others - and I have some concerns about stability and build quality on the set. I'd likely go in on another 3rd party set sometime.
I think Hasbro's Devastator is perhaps a little to big when combined and I'm not a fan of the skinny looking tiny head either.
That said the individual robots look OK in some cases and as a cheap and dirty purchase I'd consider them... even though there is clearly 100 things I can spend my money on that offer greater personal satisfaction.
Satisfaction wise I'd put Devastator not much off par with your average Constructbot - as like them you pay to much for them - you feel well ripped-off - However if you get them super cheap they are kinda delightful.
