Sabrblade states the truth here. For me that run was the peak of epic Transformers fiction. The entire battle with Unicron, all the deaths (Scorponok's in particular) and the aftermath really stayed with me since I was a kid.
and a merry one it will be!Wolfman Jake wrote: I want those figures by Xmas, dang it!

Megatron and Galvatron were the same person in the cartoon continuity, so wouldn't it go without saying that they have the same soul? Galvatron wasn't a new guy like Scourge and Cyclonus were. Unicron just changed Megatron's body, voice, and name. The lava pit on Thrull messed Galvatron up to make him insane, but during The Headmasters cartoon, Galvatron was no longer insane.hinomars19 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:From a continuity standpoint, with this taking place after The Headmasters, for the pre-established JG1 timeline to still work, whatever plan that's being carried out in this comic has to ultimately fail and be undone, with Galvatron's soul needing to die and go back to the Arctic on Earth for Dark Nova to come along years later and revive him as Super Megatron.
Actually, couldn't this story serve to explain more why he is revived as Super Megatron, even though he died as Galvatron? If the 'Galvatron' part of his soul is thus removed here in this comic, and never returns to the body, could you argue that the 'Megatron' part is still left inside the body? Maybe if you consider Galvatron to be mentally fragmented after his re-formating?
Maybe?

Mine hasn't moved since December 11, apparently. But maybe no one has bothered to update the package log.
Ya. I think the holiday rush has everyone and their Tracking Systems fully taxed. I hit ship on a PoL from BBTS on Monday and it is still sitting in the "warehouse". I'm a little stressed about it as there are some Xmas gifts in there. I won't be surprised if Devy shows up and tracking never updates.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Cyberpath wrote:chuckdawg1999 wrote:So my Devy shipped from Robot Kingdom on the 14th, and has been sitting at the Hong Kong airport since. Shipping is definitely a bother this time of year. There have been tons of news stuff going on about how holiday shopping has everywhere backed up something fierce.

If you know where to look, they most certainly do.

Either way, Galvatron was no longer crazy in The Headmasters, acting more like how he acted in The Movie or when he was Megatron.Wolfman Jake wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Megatron and Galvatron were the same person in the cartoon continuity, so wouldn't it go without saying that they have the same soul? Didn't the episode "Web World" strongly hint that there was more than one personality/mind/soul/whatever inside of crazy Galvatron? If I recall, Cyclonus remarks about Galvatron, "Well, he is sort of two people, right?" I think that's what hinomars19 was getting at. Forgive me if I am misremembering.
