Why? That was the best part of the Marvel US run after the first 12 issues.

Sabrblade states the truth here. For me that run was the peak of epic Transformers fiction. The entire battle with Unicron, all the deaths (Scorponok's in particular) and the aftermath really stayed with me since I was a kid.

Yeah, the characters look a bit goofy, but they were the Unicron horsemen essentially, and they were not to be taken lightly. and the Unicron wars was a great story, and yeah, the Scorponok story line really was amazing.

I've finally got my Unite Warriors Defensors and Devastators shipping from TFSource. I'll probably not have them until late next week, though. TFSource has changed its warehouse to somewhere in Nevada! They used to be just a 30 minute drive up I-35E for me here in Minnesota. Although I well exceeded the $150.00 mark for free shipping on my order, I spent the extra $5.00 to have it all expedited. I want those figures by Xmas, dang it!

From a continuity standpoint, with this taking place after The Headmasters, for the pre-established JG1 timeline to still work, whatever plan that's being carried out in this comic has to ultimately fail and be undone, with Galvatron's soul needing to die and go back to the Arctic on Earth for Dark Nova to come along years later and revive him as Super Megatron.

Actually, couldn't this story serve to explain more why he is revived as Super Megatron, even though he died as Galvatron? If the 'Galvatron' part of his soul is thus removed here in this comic, and never returns to the body, could you argue that the 'Megatron' part is still left inside the body? Maybe if you consider Galvatron to be mentally fragmented after his re-formating?

Megatron and Galvatron were the same person in the cartoon continuity, so wouldn't it go without saying that they have the same soul? Galvatron wasn't a new guy like Scourge and Cyclonus were. Unicron just changed Megatron's body, voice, and name. The lava pit on Thrull messed Galvatron up to make him insane, but during The Headmasters cartoon, Galvatron was no longer insane.

I'm a little stressed about it as there are some Xmas gifts in there. I won't be surprised if Devy shows up and tracking never updates.

Yes it is! My Shockwave, Megs and Underbite are now only a little ways away and will be here tomorrow, after 2 and a half weeks of waiting. Yay!

My Devy shipped from amiami last 12/12/15 to Tokyo Airport. But it only shipped out of Japan like yesterday 12/17/15

I feel for ya....except, I shipped my POL on Mon too. And Devs is sitting in my basement along with my new motorcycle Groove. (Need to take a pic of him with Hasbro's Defensor...)

And now I feel guilty...like I'm rubbing your face in it. I guess I better leave Devy and go see the new Star Wars.

BTW, I agree with MemphisR56. He's a LOT bigger than I thought he'd be. Darn near Masterpiece really...

One good thing I did notice as I am mulling over this thing not coming on time (he's in Toronto, get a MOVE on!) is how short it took to clear customs:
