By that Logic, Hasbro shouldnt get Liokaiser since they never got one to begin with. That fact alone takes away any certainty that a toy would be released if that same area had the original toys or not.
The only thing we know is that Takara is considering this line the end all be all for G1 combiners. Like MP but at a different scale. To the point where Bruticus' feet are colour coded. Looking at that I would be in total disbelief if they released a LioKaiser that was made up of 4 deluxe limbs with a voyager torso. That would be their only innacurate G1 combiner. How does that make sense?

It was said by both Hasbro and Takara that stability had nothing to do with it. Any issue one may have is entirely related to cost control and Hasbro is fine with us knowing that.
First off, I was the one who was on that bandwagon. I was actually referring to the thin plastic, and horrid lower arms, they had to use really thin plastic to fit the budget and make him lighter so that he wouldn't topple, and the arms were probably sacrificed for similar reasons - they all just looked so bad
That Bot wrote:It wouldn't surprise me TOO much if Takara released Hasbro's interpretation of Liokaiser, with some improvements, or as a "USA Version" (they've done similar in the past). Or they may go super G1 and replace Deathsaurus with whoever is missing. We'll see. I doubt they'll skip it altogether.
They are already skipping quite a bit. They arent releasing the G2 decos nor the Battle Core Torso. Takara seems to not want to do too many redecos. So my guess is we will get the Takaa version of the Skylynx mold once. It will be either as Skylynx or as Dethsaurus or something else, but not both. They will be skipping one version of this mold, I dont know which one though.
That's not fair to say they're skipping it, TT seems to be about 6 months behind hasbro, and since the G2 stuff just came out in what, December, we should be seeing whether TT will be using them soon, but it's still too early to dismiss it

However I am a fan of symmetry and order, which is why Transformers is almost a constant source of frustration. Also The CW/UW line has brought me out of a 10 year stint of not purchasing any toys, that's how much I like the line, and how powerful nostalgia can be

I posted this as it is one of my favorite pieces of TF artwork in recent memory. However it presents some challenges to reenact with CW or UW
1-No Omega Supreme (well at least not until 2018 or 2019)...
2-Sky Lynx, is now Sky Reign -I actually like this change, as I feel he would be more an even match for Predaking now but...
3-No Predaking (Hasbro as of last year stated they will not be doing any "animal" combiners...who knows if that will change
4-No Abominus (See Predaking)
Now...If I had the funds, I would actually commission Dan to do a "Part 2" of the above Battle
1.Raiden vs Piranacon (aka King Poseidon)
2.Landcross vs Dinoking
3.Road Caesar vs Liokaiser
4.Sixliner vs Monstructor
5.Guard City vs Battle Gaia
Now it gets really dicey...and uneven... There's 4 additional Autobot Combiners as part of Operation Combination that have no Decepticon counterparts...
But anyway... I always felt the micro-combiners got cheated as the toys were small in scale. The IDW Optimus Prime Spotlight (Omega Supreme vs Monstructor & origin of Combining technology), is one of my favorites. I was *hoping* Hasbro would rectify this long standing error and perhaps give them a proper update (You know if Hasbro did Monstructor then TT would do Dinoking)...But sadly I don't see this happening. I mean I love CW & UW, but with Titans Return rolling it, it will (to me at least) feel like an unfinished toy line if they don't at least offer us a few more toys before its all over.

That is not what I said. What I said was that, because Liokaiser is a Japanese creation first and foremost, and the toy exists, it would surprise me greatly if it didn't get a Japanese release. I was also debunking your assertions of mold repetition.
The only thing we know is that Takara is considering this line the end all be all for G1 combiners. Like MP but at a different scale. To the point where Bruticus' feet are colour coded. With a hypothetical UW Liokaiser being a year out or more, and with Takara's demonstrated willingness to make new molds, is it so inconceivable that they would replace Deathsaurus with new molds of Leozack and Jallguar? With this being possibly the only chance they'll ever have to release a Liokaiser, I would not be surprised if Takara did this.
And again, Takara's Unite Warriors isn't all G1 all the time. It's approximating G1 with the resources they have, and then throwing in some curveballs (Convoy Grand Prime, Grand Scourge, Grand Galvatron). This guy could be Grand Deathsaurus or something.

Awesome artwork and I have good news to make it come true for a few. Yes, we dont have Omega Supreme but that Predaking and Skylynx battle is easy as pie to recreate. For once, the G1 toys are actually in scale, not just with oneanother but with the other CW combiners.
G1 Predaking is just as tall as the CW Combiners and G1 Skylynx ends up being in the exact same scale depicted in that pic.
Sure it's G1 so it doesnt look too hot:
But add some sparkles and...

@o.supreme yes, I did like that monstructor was important for once though his Japanese counterpart was prominent in Victory. Though I looming at the history of the G1 IDWverse Nexus Prime is the first combiner.

Unless they are holding out for a titan Raidan to complement Devastator?

What if the limbs were made to scramble?

Remember both *Devastator* & *Raiden* came out in Japan's Diaclone line (pre-transformers). The only reason Hasbro did not purchase the Trainbots at the same time as the Constructicons back around 1983 was because -"American kids don't like/cant identify with a bullet train"

With them sitting here on my desk the two arm cars are pretty much identical minus their "noses" so to speak. The leg cars, even with one having a bullet nose and the other more flat like the arm cars, are damn near identical. The 2 chest guys are completely different transformation wise.
I guess if Takara went cheap they could do it with 4 different molds. One for the arm cars, 1 for the leg cars, and 2 for the chest cars.
Personally I'm hoping they go all out someday and make 6 completely different ones Devastator style. Titan class!
On a side note I forgot what a pain in the parts-forming arse it is to assemble Raiden. Here's hoping a remake would have much less of that..

Being completely honest, I would have far less interest - next to none - for any more titan class combiners
