'Emperor of Destruction' is attributed to, like... every Decepticon leader now, especially these days. And if you want to establish a female Decepticon as being in a high position and as being very powerful, saying they're married to Megatron, Galvatron, Scorponok etc. is not the worst start.

But that's just it... no other fembot has been established as a 'wife' to an 'emperor'... so that seems extremely specific to me - unless they're making this someone new and tacking that on, but somehow, I don't think they are.

I feel it could be someone new or even a pre-existing female Decepticon who has been given this title. IDK, it just seems... weird that this could be Esmeral. It's mostly the whole body thing; given what little we know about her, Pyra Magna's body structure is the exact opposite of Esmeral.
And I mean okay, you can probably say "the mold doesn't seem that right" for a lot of characters. I don't think there were a lot of people who bought Combiner Wars Offroad, looked at him, and thought "You know what? He'll eventually make a decent Ratchet". But at least in that case, those two do share a similar size, a similar body structure, and turn into at least somewhat similar alt-modes.
Esmeral is a tiny, dainty, possible deluxe-sized character who appears to turn into what is presumably the female of whatever the hell species Deathsaurus turns into. Pyra Magna is a tall, bulky, imposing, voyager-sized badass who turns into a Fire Truck. There's... there's some things that are really hard to reconcile between that mold and Esmeral.

Yeah, I get that, but I thought the faces actually matched up pretty well when I first saw them, plus this would be her first figure - probably her only one at that, so, it would be a nice figure to get...

I guess, but if that is true, then it's not the best representation of her...

I haven't seen that anywhere in fiction, the closest was the description of what each limb did for the Japanese Super Scrambles.

It's likely because if I'm recalling correctly - which I might not be - while tech specs indicated special powers for a lot of individual bots especially in the earlier years, for Combiner limbs and torsos they tended not to. So they gave Skywarp the power of Teleportation, and Scrapper the power of...

The combiners themselves tended to have powers, though. Bruticus demonstrates greater physical strength than the other combiners, while Defensor has his forcefield.
So it'd make sense that for Lynx Master's power, he'd utilise whatever powers of the limbs attached to him are. Which makes him pretty **** if he combines with the Aerialbots or Protectobots.

That's exactly why he should combine with him, that's like 20+ charisma boost. After than he could combine with anyone, bot or con, and be unstoppable.

But the Immobilizer, Force Fields, Holograms, and Healing are all supernatural magic abilities that no real world weapons can actually do. Rotor blades and cannons are ordinary technology common to the natural world. If Vortex's rotor could generation a giant energy shield via spinning, that would be a magic power. But his rotor is instead an ordinary rotor. What kinds of unique magic powers can any of the Combaticons do and that Bruticus can, in turn, use as well?
