I think the sci-fi look for the new Battle Convoy makes sense, since in the current status quo there's not really a call for the "Disguise warmechs as ordinary vehicles" tactic (And with the greater attention to scale, well..)

This new Battle Convoy is truly amazing. Perhaps the most impressive development: It can actually hold the guns properly!

I wonder if we'll see a Powered Convoy version. How bonkers do people think that would be?

Still hoping we one day see a Great Robot Base for this line.

Considering a 'fully pimped out' version of V-Max Battle Convoy (with it's... five?) add-on sets is getting close to $700 ($800 if you get more than one trailer extension)… I'd really hate to see how much anything 'bigger' than the premiere mobile base would cost. As it is... I'm still fearing the colorways for Waruder Gigantor (surprised they haven't announced it yet).

I do dig a lot of the little add-on sets, especially one ones that let you get the consoles and chairs. Makes me wish they'd do another trailer/(Big GV legs) set, especially in Destroyer colors.

I am kind of surprised we haven't gotten another Battle Buffalo update, since they released a set with the yellow Taurus (head) I wonder if they'll do add-on legs. I feel like with the change in connection parts with the Triverse/V-Max... that the old connection systems between Buffalo and Dia Battles might fall to the wayside. It's hard to tell.

I'm also really going to kick myself if V-Max comes out in Magnus (moon-base) colors... or Scourge/Nemesis colors (Black military deco). But I guess time will tell. Would be interesting if they started offering his components (the top and bottom machine) seperately.

My one concern with this set... is I wonder other than the bullet fighter... if most of those connections for the super mode will be proprietary to this set, and not cross functional with the diaclone system. Also that bullet fighter looks like it might have more going on with it, or it could just be exquisite molded details.

It does make me wish they'd do the Super Samurai Syber (cyber?) Squad figures (like that dragon gun/armor set).

Looking at the wing substructure and the gauntlets- I feel like this I mix of the "flight jacket" and Dia Battles V2, the helm is already suspiciously close to the Cosmo battles helmet. I *could* see some of these parts ironically being cross compatible with the waurader actually... given depending on if the gauntlets can attach to their tails/arm ports like a lot of what Gigantor does with the ant heads/sword attachments. Also curious if Gridman might open up so you could put a little diaclone in there. Would be adorable if it came with a little dianaught sized version too.

Given that Dia Battles 02- Red Lightning was 19800 yen. I'd expect him to be around $200 depending on how much the Ultra/Gridman licensing is costing. I doubt he'd hit $300 (Big GV prices) I suppose it depends on how solid the Gridman figure is, and exactly how hollow/solid the armor is.

Not necessarily, TTmall sells both exclusives and non exclusive

BBTS has it up for Pre-Order for $219, Amazon Japan has it up for $212 USD, at the current rate of exchange BUT it is not shipping to the US, for now. I put a PO in at BBTS, but if I can get it from AJ I will because it's going to be released on my birthday.

Looks like between the two sets you get an extra sword plus whatever those new weird parts that make up the ‘ghoul head’. Of note the ‘dragon’ head appears to either have a secondary mecha head as well as the unit in generally looks new or significantly retooled.

If you have Selects Super Megatron do yourself a favor and stick him next to Battle Convoy, you wont be disappointed. If you look at Convoy as an upgrade of the original Transformer the aesthetics mix well and Megatron is only slightly taller. I've got them both on my desk and they just mesh really well.

Glad the Warudar are finally getting their ranks filled out. It's an interesting color choice that I didn't understand at first on BBTS's website. Now seeing it in scale with the rest of the line- I understand why it doesn't really mesh with the others- it's a new unit (in a new size).

With a name like "Powered Greater", it calls to mind the idea that the combined form with Battle Convoy could be some sort of \homage to Powered Convoy (if only in spirit rather than name or appearance).

Not sure how I feel about this set. I had hoped that a Powered Convoy reimagining would be a silver version of V-Max with a new trailer it could combine with. This one feels and looks a little more like God Ginrai which isn't necessarily a bad thing and I've already ordered it on Amazon Japan, but it isn't really what I wanted.
