When the mecha are assembled, did you notice the robot looming in the background, in the sky above them?

I did! They keep alluding to him in other things too. What could it mean?
Also this is the first time they've shown any kind of antagonist.

I'm guessing a honking big robot?
It's not the first time, i believe they also showed the flying antagonist disk in tbe promo vid for the Powered Suits, also to be found on the Takara channel.
Or did you mean the mono-eye things at the end? I'm wondering about that too.

Oh, OK. I wasn't 100% sure on the antagonist.
We saw some shots from wonderfest some where, and I think those suits at the end are dive suits. There were also BIGGER Powered Suits.
Now where did those get posted?

This video makes me wonder if toys of the Waruders might be on the way.
And the music that started playing during the space battle, and which continued over into the desert battle, reminded me of the score to Gundam Wing.
Also, get a load of the "frontirers" typo in the title screen.

Came across a second-hand DA-06 Diabattles Cosmo type on Mandarake today, for 10.500 Y aka EU 80. Considering they're on ebay for 150+, i couldn't pass it up. Now awaiting order confirmation.

He IS a beaut! I like the color scheme, but I think I like the first one better. Maybe the first release looks more classic super robo? But this night ops paint job is neat.
Definitely no canon fingers regret here. I like the dopey hands. Again, they drum up some nice classic 70's giant robot vibes for me. I also think they look better in all the alt modes. They look more like big guns, and less like a spaceship with giant hands stuck to it.

Ha! I was just about to post, that extra set of arms are so cool.
Shaj, I think they come out of those giant gun pieces.
Is that correct Wilco?
And can you do some kind of 4 armed mode?

They do indeed form the rear parts of the giant cannons. And you can do some sort of 4-armed mode, but you'd have to swivel them a bit to the side. They're fully poseable.
