...And all your dreams fall into naught...

Prime's a repaint, with black instead of blue & Starscream has remolded Missile launchers. Megs & Bee look the same as their US versions...

How can you seriously tell, those images are pure crap!! Not to mention BBTS has a habbit of placing stock photos up on their site, and as far as Prime looking Black to me... It's a cruddy picture and I see some blue in there.. so it's not for sure he was remolded in Black, and besides why would they remold those parts in black iff the signature colors are blue, it defeats the purpose..

Also it's not confirmed what colors Megatron is..I'm sure he's not gonna be silver Black and red like he's supposed to be, but we will have to wait and see.. Now I've taking the liberty of bolding the information in the BBTS add that is important..

We are waiting for final information about the packaging of these items, but we assume it will nearly the same as the US releases of Classics figures. The toys themselves should be exactly the same as the US releases, but this is a good chance to pick up figures you may have missed before.
Product Number: TAK10767

Nothing is set in stone as of yet...

What, Do you work for Takara Tomy??

Totally Agree with you there..and hoping beyond hope..

that be cool(ill totally buy it)

It would be, if Takara did the missing Seekers, Hasbro wouldn't be renegging on their BotCon exclusives :-?

Again I totally Agree...

Open your eyes, mate.

The picture of Prime is a terrible one with bad lighting. It's just a photo of the Hasbro figure.

Starscream was photographed WITHOUT his missiles.

It would be a dream come true if they released Classics Bumblebee in the scale of the Alternators series. I've been foaming at the mouth for a Binaltech or Alternators Bumblebee since the series first hit the shelves. The explanation has been that Volkswagen would not release the rights to produce a Transformers toy in their design. Pathetic if it's true. Therefore we have not seen an Alternators Bumblebee in any form, much to my demise. Then along came Classics. This Bumblebee mold is excellent, and I always thought it looked better standing with the Alternators and Masterpiece line Transformers. He always looks a little out of place standing with the other Classics robots. His design, especially that of the head, much resembles the Alternators line more and would fit in perfectly as they are all redesigns of G1 characters with modern car designs. If we can't get an Alternators Bumblebee as a Volkswagen Beetle or a Mini Cooper, at least give us the Classics design in Alternators scale. How great would that be?

As far as the seekers go, I'll say this, just to clearify what I said earlier. I see no reason why Japan couldn't make Thundercracker. He would not look like a direct G1 repaint, as that has already been don for the botcon set, but a design similar to SS or Skywarp, I could see being done & notcomprimising the exclusivity of 2007 Botcon Thundercracker. Same goes for the other 2....not exact but similar enough to be recognisable.....making Thrust a direct repaint of the others would probably suffice for him, Dirge....well, maybe a better paint design himself. But yeah, I'd say Cybertron Excellion would be a prime example of what can be done to work around exclusives if there's enough demand.

Maybe they can give the seekers battle-damage to differentiate them from the convention exclusives.

I don't find the classics Seeker mold is posable enough. I love the jet mode but after getting Skywarp I don't feel another would suit me. If it were as posable as Ultra Magnus that would awesome, because that is a superb mold.

quite true. though the main appeal of the Classics seekers were updated renditions of their G1 counterparts, and i feel that - considering Classics was ONLY a filler line - the designers did their best in engineering these toys.

the only thing that sucks about the Classics seekers are the wing parts at the back that hinder arm poseability. also, the hip/leg parts could use better engineering. but given the price point for a deluxe Starscream, i'd say they're pretty much excellent.

IMHO, the best seeker mold is Ramjet, since the wing parts are located on the legs, he's got the best balance and arm poseability of all the Classics seekers. not to mention a really nice plastic color & paintjob. 8)

Yes, Classics/Universe 2.0, coming in 2008! Check the Seibertron News Archives for more information. Some characters to Classicsized are Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and Octane. There are many rumours as to who else will be made, including Galvatron, Ultra Magnus (with trailer), the Datsun Trio, etc.

for the current Classics releases - i guess a melancholy no.

but Universe 2.0 will be somewhat like Classics 2.0. this is totally different from the Classics we have now, mainly because of the new characters and the long release date. 8)

Basically, Classics 2.0 is just dumped under the Universe line.

By the way, is there anyway to preserve and maintain the paint on the G1 Die-cast parts? The paint on mine seems to be flaking off quite easily.

I believe they also said that some of the Titanium figures that weren't produced might (Key word:might) make an appearence as well, such as Shockwave & Cosmos.

wow, that's great news! i hope they release those molds in plastic this time. the Titanium line was a great idea (anime accurate molds and colors) hampered by the weight of die-cast.

I would totally buy those!!! IF they do it, IF....

As far as I am concerned, having a Takara rendition of classics with a Thundercracker and other character repaints would be wonderful. I wouldn't want them exactly like the Botcon exclusives, just as close to the source materials they can go without infringing on the botcon exclusives, while still giving us a chance to own those characters at a reasonable rate, and imported from Japan.. I wonder if they will ever do a 3-pack of the seekers and cone heads...

or imagine collector friendly packaging for classics.. ahhhhhhhhhh... you can keep em' MISB or MIB, and easily replace for storage...nice...I just hope they give us a different Megatron.. what they may do is a repaint called G-1 Megatron.. which would be pretty cool...

So now that there is a possibility of the Classics from takara getting revamped and repainted, whose thinking about repaints of Thundercracker and a dirge, ramjet, and others??

I had a feeling we may get sdome good news from takara Tomy on this line, i mean come on, it's Japan, why would they want a Nerf Megatron???

I'm just pleased they'll all be more G1 accurate, I was put off quite a few of these due to the lack of G1 detailing. What would be even better would be if new molds of Prime and Megatron were made to better match their G1 design, that will never happen tho.
