I personally feel that line is ultra solid and I feel lucky as a TF fan that if I have a problem with how any of them look paint wise, I have another option. But of course, I totally respect anyone who thinks otherwise.

I totally get that size class issue. As for the headmasters on everyone thing I recently learned that the movie bots all became headmasters in the Japanese cartoon, so its not completely as left field as I thought at first. And Takara's looks sooooooooo good. As good as this Primal (I preordered both from Anime export). And believe it or not, I am a bit more appreciative of these mainline products over the MPs and 3p toys. I own them too and somehow because of the money I spend, I expect more than I usually get (in recent memory, only Ironhide really lived up to my expectations). With cheaper mainline toys, I expect less and usually dont end up dissapointed. Also, so far all my 3p toys had issues with really loose parts or pieces falling off so it leaves a bitter taste.

We knew the Hasbro Asia release of MP 32 Optimus Primal would come with a skull mace/flail referencing the accessory from the original toy and we got to see this mace at the Cybertron Con. These phots were found on the Hobbybase Facebook page. You will notice that it is on an actual chain. It makes sense to see this accessory at this particular show since it is only available through Hasbro Asia, and not Takara. While Hasbro Asia releases of Masterpiece toys have been happening for years now, it's interesting to see how Hasbro is really appropriating the Masterpiece line in Asia by having them displayed and revealed at their shows and having the Hasbro logo proudly displayed on the cardboard at the base of the figure. Will you be getting this toy? And if so which release will you be getting, Takara or Hasbro Asia?

How's the arm poseability?

The boxed pic is so tiny I can't make out that first Kanji in his rank. I can tell the rest of it is 司令官 ("Shireikan"), meaning "Commander", but that first Kanji is too small for me to read.

It doesn't look like 総 ("Sō") to me, which is the Kanji in 総司令官 ("Sōshireikan") that means "Supreme Commander", the rank commonly attributed to Autobot and Maximal leaders in Japan.
