I also have, officially, too many hobbies and fandoms to buy into...
Man, I hope Henkei Astrotrain isn't stupid expensive by the time I have cash to get him...
Just start selling your body on the street, That's how I afford this ****
Tekka wrote:You'd be hard pressed to find someone who's not cheaper than BBTS. I know it's a quality service and all... but damn.
Fan2Fan wrote:Just out of curiosity, a lot of other collectors are either ordering both the exclusive seekers or just the exclusive Thundercracker, you have just ordered the exclusive Skywarp, was wondering why would you not get thundercracker as well?
I'm sure everyone in Japan who wants one will get one, after all it is a lot easier for them to do it. I would imagine there are Japanese buyers getting these in bulk too just so they can sell them when the preorders get cut off.waaaaghlord wrote:Hehe, just had a thought. With the amount of these being bought by proxies, ordered through f2f or snapped up by other websites how many of these babies are actually going to be left for the Japanese collectors?

Japan likes to do weird stuff like that, I'm sure you know that, being in this hobby.![]()

Edit: My bad, it seems they changed it to 2000 now. Whatever, as long as I've got mine it's all good.
waaaaghlord wrote:Last year's Botcon set was 1250 units for the main set, split between boxed and loose, 1100 for the on the day 2 packs and an unknown number presumed to be around the 1000 mark for Mirage. If 9999 turns out to be true for the Henkeis that would be eight times the number of Botcon 'Crackers.

Well, I for one look forward to seeing the truth.

I'm getting mine through Fan 2 Fan. Normally I'd be all over BBTS but it seems since the beginning of the year the mark ups on Japanese import TF's have skyrocketed. Even with the express shipping from F2F it still comes out only a few dollars difference between the two.
Craven Knight wrote:I'll just point out that that DOESN'T include postage but neither does BBTS' $139 now that I think about it![]()
Craven Knight wrote:Yay, just sent the monies to fan2fan via Paypal - $90US for the pair, with $27 for shipping left to pay later on.
Now we play the waiting game...![]()
...the waiting game sucks

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
