Tekka wrote:Well fantofan and Rinkya have both gotten back to me saying they're processing my order but haven't gotten to the payment stage with either of them yet.
I can't believe I'm sitting here with all this money, yet nobody wants to take it. =( I can't give it away these days.
BTW, look who's made his first appearance on eBay:

It can get pretty bad being down-under (I have been waiting 2 1/2 months for packages from Canada and the Czech Republic), but Japan is not so far away, so it should cost about the same as shipping to the US.
Tekka wrote:Both my orders are sorted so thought those interested might like to know how they match up to each other in price. Keep in mind the shipping rates are for Europe. The rates to the US are cheaper.
From Rinkya: $54.16 shipped at $15. Total = $69.16
From FanToFan: $45 with shipping estimated at $26.60 based on Henkei Starscream. Total = $71.60
It is a few measly dollars difference but I had expected Rinkya to be more expensive than FTF. Glad to say I'm pleasantly surprised.
Tekka wrote:Just for one figure. (It works for either one.)
EMS for Rinkya, and SAL for FanToFan. (Yes, Rinkya's shipping rates kick ass.)
Edit: Oops. Yes that's the right place. you'll want the Rinkya Stores page.
Tekka wrote:Yeah I know the fees can be pretty daunting, it's never fun ordering things internationally. You're lucky you live in the states where you can get most TF items domestically.
It breaks down lke this:
Subtotal: $31.81 (3150 yen)
Japan S/H: $10.35 (1025 yen)
Fee/Service: $12.00
Int. Shipping: $15.00
Shipping Fee: $3.75
Sledge wrote:*sigh* Waiting for FanToFan to get back to me. He wanted confirmation it was just Thundercracker I wanted. Well, to be exact, I WANT TC and 'Warp, but I'm only buying TC. Damn finances and logic.
