When it comes to Japanese versions I don't mind paying that little bit extra (little bit, not exoberant) so even if I have to pay out $70-$80AU for Thundercracker, i'm fine with that.

Don't ask me about my collecting habits, I just like the Japanese versions. Plus i've been lucky over the years and picked a lot of them up cheaply anyway.

Isn't shipping to Oz gonna be the bit that costs the most Burn? I swear someone told me something about shipping rates to that corner of the world being extortionate.

I bet my bro's already ordered one of each. Haven't asked, as I don't care. I just want my UM armour damnit!

It can get pretty bad being down-under (I have been waiting 2 1/2 months for packages from Canada and the Czech Republic), but Japan is not so far away, so it should cost about the same as shipping to the US.

I am waiting for titanium Skywarp. My Thundercrackers order has been confirmed. I am getting them from the store through my contact. (only two and one is spoken for) So whatever my contact charges me for shipping or whatever, it won't be nearly as much as paying for a single botcon seeker.

I can't wait because my small thundercracker collection would really use him in the corner

Too much for my taste. This one ships from the states but charge as if it's from Japan. Dont like it.

It's more or less $75 per figure, cheaper than the other guy charging $90+ per figure. So if you want to go through eBay it's not actually such a bad deal. Of course it's not going to be as cheap as getting them from the source, but some of us don't have that option.

My order for 3 figures (I got an extra Thundercracker for a friend) came to a few pence over £70 including the bidding agents commission.
There'll be a bit more to add to that as he never adds the international shipping until he has the items in hand so if the whole lot comes in under £100 I'll be fairly satisfied,especially after looking on ebay and seeing that Botcon Thundercracker goes for £150 plus.

Thanks! I've used Masato's service (http://www.m-world-service.com/index.html) quite a few times in the past for buying various items and he's never let me down. I think I'm going to see if he has any contacts that are going to the next Wonder Festival as I want a Jizaitoys Powerglide and Wheelie.

Both my orders are sorted so thought those interested might like to know how they match up to each other in price. Keep in mind the shipping rates are for Europe. The rates to the US are cheaper.

From Rinkya: $54.16 shipped at $15. Total = $69.16
From FanToFan: $45 with shipping estimated at $26.60 based on Henkei Starscream. Total = $71.60

It is a few measly dollars difference but I had expected Rinkya to be more expensive than FTF. Glad to say I'm pleasantly surprised.

EMS for Rinkya, and SAL for FanToFan. (Yes, Rinkya's shipping rates kick ass.)

Not that much cheaper, shipping to the US by EMS is $12, so just knock $3 off my total.

D'OH. I forgot the handling fee. My apologies. It does put Rinkya's shipping price up by $3.75.

From FanToFan: $45 shipped at $26.60 based on Henkei Starscream.
Total = $71.60 (SAL)
From Rinkya: $54.16 shipped at $18.75 based on Henkei Starscream. Total = $72.91 (EMS) (If the box is weighted down shipping increases to $22.50, $76.66 total.)

So it would seem FTF is the better choice, the shipping for them may even end up being less, as it was just an estimate.

Yeah I know the fees can be pretty daunting, it's never fun ordering things internationally. You're lucky you live in the states where you can get most TF items domestically.

It breaks down lke this:

Japan S/H: $10.35 (1025 yen)
