So is this actually swoop ? I can't remember the blue print type designs on the toy packaging looking like this .

Again, everyone says this guy's name is Strafe. Swoop wasn't part of the toy listings whatsoever.

It could just be a case of the Q/WheelJack name change and it is Swoop ? or it could be a version of Strafe and since he is a jet in G1 this beast being a flyer does suit.

Personally i hope it's a Terrorcon be it Strafe as a Decepticon or whatever , i don't know how or where they revive Grimlock but i sort of vision these two froze locked in battle and being awakened together , that's just me thinking if they were enemies .

I am however interested to see what figures we get with this movie , i own pretty much every figure/mold off the last 3 movies and told myself i was done no more movie toys but with Dinobots ,Samurai , bounty hunters, Galvatron? and pretty much an all new cast for TF4 , i'm willing to give this another shot.

Like a majority of the movie transformers there alt modes are not exactly accurate so Strafe being a flying beast is still keeping his original function as an Ariel bot or whatever it's just a different version of him since his not a cybertronian jet.

Strafe was a jet... that also happened to have two nosecone/laser thingies... almost like a "two-headed" jet.

In the wacky world of the Movieverse, it's as logical as it gets. 8-}

Accurate to what? G1?

so Strafe being a flying beast is still keeping his original function as an Ariel bot or whatever it's just a different version of him since his not a cybertronian jet.

The AOE Dinobots are:
Grimlock
Strafe
Scorn
Slash
Slug

Unless the fan-conceived idea of him being a Predacon is ever put into action, Strafe is a Dinobot. Not sure how he could keep his original function as a Technobot with that said.

Also, you keep relating "a different version of Strafe" as if G1 and the movies are the same thing. They're two separate continuities. Everyone is a different version. :???:
