Who are the characters who will appear in TF3?

Heya.Here's what the word is so far:

Optimus Prime with trailer (confirmed and spotted on set.Known to make it to final battle).
Sideswipe (confirmed and spotted on set.KNown to make it to final battle).
Bumblebee (confirmed,spotted and believed to spend a portion of the film in a new disguise.Known to make it to final battle).
Skids & Mudflap (confirmed & spotted on set with moderate activity, believed to flip a smart car at some point,expected to count amongst the casualties at some point.Not yet spotted active in final battle filming at this point).
Ironhide (confirmed & spotted with moderate activity.Theorised to become a casualty at some point.Spotted at but not reported active in final battle filming at this point).
Ratchet (confirmed & spotted on set.Confirmed active at beginning of final battle).
Jolt. Missing in action.Initial sightings of a blue car (BMW,I think)thought to be Jolt are at the moment not confirmed. The blue car,thought later to be Wheeljack or Perceptor is at the moment identified as "Q" and is no longer reliably considered an Autobot but also a possible Quintesson.
Arcee sisters.Unsighted/Missing in action.One is considered confirmed dead by Michael Bay with MEDIUM reliability.3 Nascars that have appeared,originally considered Stunticons, were suggested to be the Arcee sisters (by me).This is invalid and to date the three are identified with reliability as 'Wreckers'
The Wreckers.See above.3 Unknown identities currently believed to be Autobots.Extremely Low to nonexistant possibility that they represent human tech nicknamed wreckers by production members.(Confirmed at start of final battle).
The Ferrari.Most popularly considered to be Hot Rod or Wheeljack.Unknown identity.(Confirmed at final battle).
Wheelie.No sightings.No news.
Grimlock.No sightings.No news.Most popular wild bet.
Silverbolt.Confirmed by press releases at beginning of filming.Considered unsighted as yet.
The jeep that is most likely rollbar.A jeep that is most likely considered to be Rollbar (because it says "Rollbar" on the side of it).Spotted inactive at Final battle filming as of this date.
The mysterious beat up vintage blue car that Shia and Bay were spotted in.Not heavily speculated upon as yet.Spottings of Bumblebee (suspected)in a vintage alt. mode lends flying pigs' chance that it's undercover Jolt riding shotgun for 'Bee.May be a privately owned vehicle unrelated to filming.
The Bemonocled face with hair.Unknown identity confirmed at final battle,speculated to be Wheeljack,Perceptor,"Q",Grimlock,Alpha Trion,Vector Prime(I think),Silverbolt or a Decepticon mad scientist replacing the Doc in RotF.

Megatron.(confirmed sighted at final battle).Popularly theorised to be back to TF1 alt.mode.
Soundwave.(Confirmed present in final battle ground combat to popular fan response).
Shockwave. (Confirmed present,final battle ground combat).
The big blue foot.(confirmed spotted final battle.widely considered to be the cgi stand-in foot of a super Giant Decepticon identity).
The security truck.Spot in the vicinity of the final battle filming.Identity currently under scrutinization (I forget current leading theories-sorry).

No other decepticons are confirmed sighted yet to the best of my knowledge and I'm very sorry but I'm tired from all the typing.Somebody please help?

We can also add Silverbolt to the list, as James Avery (of Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame) confirmed he was voicing the character for the film a few months ago.

I want to think that the Decepticon SUV spotted earlier might be Soundwave's Earthmode, but that's pure speculation.

Uncategorised Filming Observations:

The purple bot in the back of the truck: A Purple mannequin-esque bot, considered a little short for a typical Transformer. Beast like anatomical layout and facial characteristics with peculiar piston/spring/suspension type features on lower forearms just above wrists. Initially suspected to be hoax,later considered to be something similar to a pretender shell,theorised to be involved in a (possibly) Autobot-intercepted assasination attempt of a key human (propably)scientific figure. Cautiously re-appreciated to be an early stand-in for the final Shockwave design.Spotted in Milwaukee (I think).

The Dempsey files:Funny neither-here-nor-there behaviour by the Dempsey character enforced intitial(evidence dwindling) possibilities of a human faction (most readily considered 'The Initiative'-assumed predisposed to hunting down at least Autobots if not all Cybertronians, with intent to eliminate).Dempsey Character,confirmed to be a Race Car driver and uniformly anticipated to be tied to the origins of The Wreckers' Nascar alt.modes,resupporting human subfaction involvement speculation.Suggested to be named Sparkplug. Suggested to be Carlys' Father.Suggested to switch factions during course of story.Observed in final battle sequence talking to unknown large Bot,assumed to be bargaining for the survival of Sam or Earth as a whole during particular sequence,most likely during final battle endgame.Also,however,observed to be exiting a vehicle with striking similarities to RotF Decepticon messenger/Courier Sideways,(Universally confirmed very,VERY dead!).APPEARS to be in the vicinity of the Decepticon security van and undercover alt. mode Bumblbee during particular sequence.

The Mikaela mystery:Considered universally confirmed casualty of war in this film. Assumed to be assasinated by Decepticons.Suggested to be driving a Smart car at time of death.Suggested to die alongside Wheelie.Suggested to die in Decepticon ambush/raid alongside other categorized casualties such as Jolt and the Twins.Suggested to have been murdered off camera and replaced by pretender intending to assassinate Sam.

The red head on a stick:Effectively universally accepted to be the CGI stand in for the Ferrari wearing Autobot.

Carly:Known to be Sams new love interest and is strongly expected to continue on to become his wife.Effectively universally appreciated to be Movieverse variant of G1 character of same name.Suggested to enter plot as daughter of the Dempsey Character.

Ok. Basically just learnt about this one:

The Decepticon S.U.V: Spotted in Milwaukee (I think) on a car carrier rig together with 2 police car props and what looked like 2 vintage Datsun Bumblebee alt.Mode props.
Decepticon symbol clearly spotted on vehicle.Punted to be fan choice such as Swindle & Soundwave with no real Identity theories. Most closely resembles Movie toy Decepticon: Stockade but unlikely as he was a black Sector 7 transport and not a silver-Grey privately owned car (or FBI style nondescript vehicle?), which this appears to be masquerading as.

FOOTNOTE: The post originally discussing the Mysterious looking beat up vintage blue car which Shia and Bay were riding in, which I believe is the one that is locked now, stated that the vintage car arrives with two other nondescripty type vehicles loaded with important looking foot-military types. Is there a possibility those vehicles and this S.U.V look the same externally? Anyone?... Anyone?...?

I read somewhere about two camaros on set. I'm assuming one is bumblebee, and hoping the other is Cliffjumper. Don't those two always have the same alt. form? Bee's always yellow, Jumper's always red.

I wish that the movies did better with the character of the robots. In the shows, you can remember everyone. But if you see the movie, without any tf knowledge, you won't be able to follow any character development.

I was under the impression the race cars were more likely to be Autobots (as much as I wanted them to be the Stunticons)? If they're even TFs at all...

(I remember someone noting off hand that they could just be suped-up cars which might make sense because of the obvious mismatch of tech.)

Ooh, I must've missed that. I didn't know there was another Camaro on set. I know Cliffjumper in the new animated series "Prime" is going to be his own mech though,

so unless we know it's a red Camaro then I wouldn't look too much into it...It could just be an extra [yellow] one in case of any incidents. Do you remember where you saw that?

Except for Optimus.
He's a universally known character... even my sister knows who he is, and she is completely clueless when it comes to TF (which is kinda funny considering that her son is nuts for TF and constantly talking about the different robots and all that)

The twins maybe a waste of effects and all that. But remember this,Rodimus,they brought comedy into ROTF before it was supposed to come in and possibly kept die hard Optimus fans from crying when he died.

The 3 Nascars vehicles have been confirmed to be tranformers but thier faction has yet to be confirmed they are called the Wreckers.

The Q-Bot aka Einstein many say is Wheel Jack is an autobot.

They are new Decipticon SUVs spotted on set but unknown who they are or there Robotic Modes.

Shockwave has yet to be spoted neither his ALT.mode or his Robotic Mode.

The Red Ferrari has only been seen in ALT.mode his robotic mode has yet to be shown his name is still secret but he is an Autobot.

Only ones confirmed are the ones seen in the shots of the sets unknown what the deal is with the new ones of Sam could be a new bot such as a new Combiner or Silverbolt.

I actually liked the twins (collected gasp), but that's mainly because I've known many people in high school who act[ed] exactly like that!!

I am pretty sure the Blue MB is Einstein.

Sentinel can't be Optimus' old bot for two reasons. A: He died before Optimus took over in G1 and came back an ass. B:The Primes of the past are dead. Sam was knocked out by Megatron's blast and was told by Rodimus and Vector to unite the A.M.L with O.P's spark.

There's one main problem with this....they're all different continuities from what I understand.
The original Sentinel was a good guy, nothing like the Animated version anyways...

Optimus is also pretty old(for us) and was supposed to be an orphan(or so I've heard) which is how he was Megatron's brother, but Megatron is still not a Prime.

But if you see the movie, without any tf knowledge, you won't be able to follow any character development.

For me, for the first movie, which was before I was a fan and had any knowledge, I was able to tell who everyone was.

In ROTF which is after I became a fan, it was very difficult, so I agree with you there.
They really should have introduced people better.

sounds like he was lying besides was Sentinel not one of the primes that appeared before Sam?
