You obviously weren't in the line for Sonicron at Botcon. We waited 1.5 hours for him to open his booth and take our money because he refused to open until 10(instead of at 8:30 when the dealer room actually opened). Even the people who had previously bought from RK in the past were reconsidering using them again after that experience.

The ability to get this when it comes out rather than sitting on it for 5 months to get a big enough POL that I break even makes the $4 saved (before factoring in shipping of any kind) icing on the cake...especially when patience isn't exactly one of my strong suits! Sure, BBTS customer service is second to none (more or less), but I don't recall ever hearing anything but positive from RK.

Kibble wrote:And for what it's worth, BotCon changed the official opening of the dealer room from 8:30 to 10:00...I know because I found out the hard way when I showed up at 7:30 to get in line and was informed of the time change.
Midnight_Fox wrote:Were you general admission? I got into the dealer room at 8:30 as did every other package holder, because it was part of our package to get in early. The only people who had until 10 were General Admission. The fact is, we paid for that extra time in our package and wasted it standing in line because he had given no indication the previous day that he wasn't opening when the dealer room actually did.
Also, he actually only had 17 to sell on Saturday, because he didn't pull the 2 from his display until the end of Sunday(don't ask me where the last of the 20 originally stated went).
Kibble wrote:Sorry, I think I have things mixed up...I'm guessing this was Saturday? I was thinking Friday when they opened the dealer room later than it was supposed to (and I think I had my times wrong anyhow.)

And, no these aren't Fansproject reasonable. Warbot Defender was roughly voyager sized. These are Deluxe, so it's not quite there. I just hope these and the FP Nonsecticons don't come in all at once.

Well actually Warbot is not Voyager sized
At that time I still had the Target Springer (voyager) repaint of Evac/Live Convoy before I shuffled it off to my son. Warbot is the same size as Blurr and Kup. I still didn't mind it's got higher quality plasitcs, metals, and resin that it's almost like a hand made toy.
I did preorder the first figure because I will give it a go. I don't buy movie toys so I have all money diverted to third party and Neo G1 stuff only.

And I'm pretty sure these guys are supposed to be roughly the same size, large deluxe/small voyager

I'll agree with the last statement. Because Warbot is larger that the Deluxes, but not quite Voyager size. I put him next to Classics Optimus and Megatron (Voyagers) he's a whole head shorter.

This is just too much for me.
Maybe in the distant future with a dealer willing to set a hefty discount.

Check your math. If Not-Scavenger (TFClub's Exgraver) is priced at about $100.00 in the USA with about another $15.00 to go towards shipping and there's a total of SIX Not-Constructicons, then you're looking at a total of about $700.00 in the USA, give or take.

A couple of things come to mind:
Considering the size of the Gestalt are the "pieces" needed to build him going to be split amounsgt the 6 parts - the thighs/legs will be as big as one of the vehicles at least......and by the pictures that's almost the same for those hands....
Are there actually 6 different vehicles? The proto didn't look like it. Am I going to need two of Excarver?
More details and some colour shots would be good here.
I hate looking at expensive things early in the morning. My head hurts.
