He's not fat he's "husky".

But in all honesty, I really like it all together. The beefy look works. Kind of like a bouncer.

Still not 100% down with the new version of Groove, but I do like the overall look.

I'll wait for one of the retailers to do a group bundle, though.

I think it's the fact that the blue bits around his stomach area makes it looks like he has no... lower torso... just looks like one big rectangle chest and then hips.

Oh, I was sure you were right! I was just having some fun. It's kinda cool being the old guy sometimes.

I actually haven't heard the term "phat" in a long time. And I'm of the age that I bet if I did use phat, I would immediately make the use of phat unphat.

(Plus, I have bad old-man/dad jokes. Want to hear?)

Back to the topic at hand, indeed, the camera angle might have something to do with the "I'm not fat, I'm fluffy" look. But, the proportions on the limbs don't help either...

And they say the camera adds 10 pounds... (Is Reflector tacked onto it somewhere?)

(And my greatest apologies. I'm on break in the middle of a 12 hour work day for me. I think I'm getting a little punchy...)

Yeah... I think I can see that. Still doesn't look fat to me.

I guess it's just the perspective and that I've got 60% of him already.

agreed. i wasnt a big fan of this project overall, but it looks pretty badass as a whole. personally im still going the way of MK, but if it didnt exist id still be happy with TFC's offering.

When someone has a deal on all 5 I'll get the gift pack pricing.

Unless the Hasbro one fits my needs, but I'm skeptical since I saw the Groove will be a chest piece or weapon and not a limb.

I would wait for maketoys guardia. Theyre skipping the scales issue and making a G1 sccurate groove as a limb. If I buy Hasbrosor with the groove chest it will just be for s**t and giggles and to display the team as individual bots. And I wouldnt be suprised if belzeboss has shifted their attention from slingshot to groove.

I'm not getting Guardia since I prefer the TFC size to the Maketoys size ... though the MT combiners scale pretty well with the CW figures, so I am starting to rethink that decision.

I like your thought about Belzeboss, I hope they do a CW-esque Groove as a limb. That would be pretty sweet!!!
