The relaunch last night could have been way way worse.

Relatively speaking, it was a very smooth launch considering the craziness that had ensued the last couple of weeks. It was really a worst case scenario for a developer.

Want to give a special shout to some peeps:

Mkall: Compiled the alt mode tables and images and got the beasts their own alts and rotation. KUDOS!

Caelus: Compiled all the new missions you are seeing and redid all the weapons. He spent a lot of time updating data.

All the players: Without the optimistic attitudes of all the players this game might not be up right now. You all were very mature and understanding through all of this and you have no idea how much that means to us as a staff and especially to me in dealing with the loss we had. You have all been top notch through this!

In the meantime, the game seems to be working fine now. We shouldn't have any more foreseeable issues so its definitely game on!

Keep sending me PMs if you lost a name. I'll go through them over the next few days.

PS. If I forgot to mention anyone by name in helping out behind the scenes on this then I may just be unaware so speak up

As for weapons, the weapon-adder tools will be back, after a quick glance it looks many weapons aren't back there...?

Well, eventually someone else would probably step up into the role and it would be OK

Seriously, the game wouldn't have been up nearly as quick without the help of the other HMW staff members.

Thanks OS. I am rather impressed with how things went. Aside of a few crumby people. Under the circumstances, I am impressed it is back up. I wasn't sure if you'd be like me and say AH...frag it all. I've had that a few times when things have gone kaplooy.

It's grand to have the game back! While I've yet to need weapons, I'm sure they is all immaculate. And the alt modes are fantastic!

Except what happened to all the tape decks? Is the alt rotator already on the go?

Thanks Guys for getting the game up and running. With the changes you were able to put through and us all starting from the beginning this has been rather fun. Not that any of us likely wanted to start over, but this has been the best start over we could have imagined.

All of the newer weapons were completely deleted. I salvaged a list of names and the Fp/Skl reqs from my hard-drive, but don't have anything else data was to plug them in. Redoing all that will be an arduous and time consuming process. With grad-school concerns to take into account, I had to prioritize, so I focused on rebalancing the stats for the weapons already in the inventory by default. Preventing broken stuff from going into circulation was more important than putting in new stuff.

I want to get that stuff back out there eventually, but it may be a gradual addition starting with lower level weapons and working upward.

Speaking of which, I can only see the Predacon missions, so all I know is that the old Beast Warrs missions made it back in, along with my Vietnam-inspired campaign.

What else did the Bots and Cons get?
